He got injured in the 2nd vs Tampa (the loss), they didn't say what, just upper body. It's minor and PoMo said if it's playoffs he'd have played vs the Pens or Canes but because these games aren't important they're giving him time to get to 100%. He should be back soon.

Thank you. I was looking for the pieces of Yandle’s jersey I’d burned awhile back. Was all set for the comeback.

Edit: though, Mo saying he’d have played if it were the playoffs does sound like he’ll be out a bit. He’s always off on his injury projections.

Amazingly, the best record over the past 10 games in the eastern conference is 6-4-0, shared by many, and includes panthers

Reminder that they called 'too many men' last night, there were actually SEVEN Penguins on the ice (counting a guy two feet from the bench), and they took the call off the board because ??? ???

Lundell pulling a Jussi Jokinen in the shootout was a great hommage. Liked Balinskis a lot last night, was all over the place, strong breakouts. Knight clearly 1st star, much deserved.

Verhaege is really snakebitten. If he scored one or the other goal with his amount of grade A chances, nobody would currently be complaining (except vendetta).

It's noticeable how the goals just aren't going in lately. Halfway through a long season, it doesn't bother me too much. In the 3rd, I did see them get on the forecheck and hit and show some of the process that we will need every night come April. It still feels alot like energy saving and injury avoidance at this point. Sleepwalking some more through Jan and Feb then the final tune-up in March to run it back? Well see. I expect Zito to tinker.

Game of the year for Knight; even better than the shutout he had against Carolina. And against a team he let five in against last month. He looked awesome.
