I welcome your well intentioned point of view here Jet. I will say this, that I sort of agree, and disagree with your post. I'd say if he can play the line on aggressive play like Buff did, I think he'll be an asset. Buff probably took an average of one penalty every 2 games.
From what I've seen from Dillon, and I believe he took 2 penalties tonight, and one or 2 in the last game, this will start costing us games. If the Preds were not offside on one play, his penalty could have changed the momentum, and then you never know.
I will say this, if he can "control" his aggressive play, and keep the penalties down, he'll be an asset, and if he doesn't he'll end up being more of a liability. I think Chevy recruited him to bring some physical play to the back end to replace Buff as you say, and I hope he can discipline his style of play a bit better, and keep the penalties down. You can still play very aggressive, and slam guys into the boards, and not take a bunch of senseless penalties. You have to control it.
