Congrats Rangers on the series win. Showed a lot of spunk.
McCue embarrassed himself but that's on him. Flint did battle. No easy wins.

I didn't comment on him being an import or notBorn in Mississauga....not an import.
Xu is impressing every period so far. Solid on the backend.
Rangers saying Misel is done for the night but worried its going to be much more.
One more period of solid hockey boys. Lets go!
Oh no. It was obvious from the moment it happened (in house withoutbenefit of replay). Dumb and deserved. The non-goggled regulars in my section all saw it that way. From the view on the couch that looked like weak call for a slew foot. Didn't look like the definition.
Played the series like a scared punk. Ended appropriatelyProbably not the way McCue will have wanted to finish his OHL career, when he looks back on it. Being ushered off the ice in your last game, is a bit embarassing.
Even though two games is usually automatic, I don’t think a slew foot can be bought back. Only automatic games like second fight same stoppage can be brought back.-Can a slew foot be bought back?
-Ellinas and the staff got screamed at by Darcy for coming onto the ice after the game
-Enjoyed the Xuuuuu chant after a good play or hit by Jacob tonight.
He was leaned on with Missle and Elinas out and delivered. Very good from Vermeulen.Xu is looking better with each shift that goes by. Really only one play tonight where he got caught in a tough spot and even then he has the skating to recover.
One other guy that stood out to me as stepping up was Vermeulen. Worked hard all night, won some important battles, and played some great minutes in killing out this game.
Tried punching Parsons after the final whistle.I missed it. What did McCue do that he wasn't allowed on the ice for the handshake line?
Not to defend McCue at all, cuz he was a punk for most of the series, but Parsons skated right to him and clearly said something for McCue to turn and swing. He kind of brought that one on himself.Tried punching Parsons after the final whistle.
His best check was delivered to his own team mate early in the 1st.Probably not the way McCue will have wanted to finish his OHL career, when he looks back on it. Being ushered off the ice in your last game, is a bit embarassing.
I saw him struggle to the bench but thought I saw him out on the ice near the end of the game?I think Hlacar got hurt too? It was almost off the tv screen but looks like he got injured behind the net. Anyone at the game see him struggle to get to the bench?
Beautiful pass on the Lam goal. One other guy that stood out to me as stepping up was Vermeulen. Worked hard all night, won some important battles, and played some great minutes in killing out this game.
I saw that too, Parson shouldnt have skated up to him. But because someone says something means he can try to take a swing at him?? Series was over, Parsons shouldnt have skated up to him but no excuse for McCue...Not to defend McCue at all, cuz he was a punk for most of the series, but Parsons skated right to him and clearly said something for McCue to turn and swing. He kind of brought that one on himself.
So he wouldn't back his crap up during the 300+ minutes of play time, but can play tough guy after Parsons likely told him to get the f out of his building? McCue was shut down effectively for the series, and while skilled I will not miss the rat being in the league. If you're gonna play that way you need to accept a dance partner once in a while. Hlacar, Ando, Swick, Ellinas, Campbell, MacNeil, and the list goes on all would have happily obliged. Went to the dressing room to shake his own embarrassed hand. Not to defend McCue at all, cuz he was a punk for most of the series, but Parsons skated right to him and clearly said something for McCue to turn and swing. He kind of brought that one on himself.
Yes another Burchell special...I was thinking the same thing. There wasn’t much forward movement by Ellinas’ leg. Not much contact with the Flint players legs at all.
Lam stepped up the whole series. Not afraid to play in the dirty spots and can weave through the rest.Reid seemed to look okay congradulating the boys coming off the ice. Hopefully good sign going forward. Lam stepped up tonight with Missle out of the game.
McCue and Claptrap deserve everything they get and then some. Not to defend McCue at all, cuz he was a punk for most of the series, but Parsons skated right to him and clearly said something for McCue to turn and swing. He kind of brought that one on himself.
Bye!you guys are a pissy bunch.
