Congrats Rangers on the series win. Showed a lot of spunk.
McCue embarrassed himself but that's on him. Flint did battle. No easy wins.

Xu is impressing every period so far. Solid on the backend.
Rangers saying Misel is done for the night but worried its going to be much more.

From the view on the couch that looked like weak call for a slew foot. Didn't look like the definition.

Oh no. It was obvious from the moment it happened (in house withoutbenefit of replay). Dumb and deserved. The non-goggled regulars in my section all saw it that way.

very impressive 20 for 20 on the PK for the series.
Sort looked like Flint gave up after the 5 minute penalty kill. Not alot of push back.

Even though two games is usually automatic, I don’t think a slew foot can be bought back. Only automatic games like second fight same stoppage can be brought back.

I’d have to see it again and maybe from a different angle, but it wouldn’t surprise me if Ellinas is available for game one of the next round.

One other guy that stood out to me as stepping up was Vermeulen. Worked hard all night, won some important battles, and played some great minutes in killing out this game.

He was leaned on with Missle and Elinas out and delivered. Very good from Vermeulen.

I saw that too, Parson shouldnt have skated up to him. But because someone says something means he can try to take a swing at him?? Series was over, Parsons shouldnt have skated up to him but no excuse for McCue...

So he wouldn't back his crap up during the 300+ minutes of play time, but can play tough guy after Parsons likely told him to get the f out of his building? McCue was shut down effectively for the series, and while skilled I will not miss the rat being in the league. If you're gonna play that way you need to accept a dance partner once in a while. Hlacar, Ando, Swick, Ellinas, Campbell, MacNeil, and the list goes on all would have happily obliged. Went to the dressing room to shake his own embarrassed hand.

I was thinking the same thing. There wasn’t much forward movement by Ellinas’ leg. Not much contact with the Flint players legs at all.

Lam stepped up the whole series. Not afraid to play in the dirty spots and can weave through the rest.
