Rangers should get back on top of their game tonight and show more interest in winning the game. When they play at the top of their game, they're unstoppable....Day or no Day. Let Flint resort to their "physical" game and set them straight as required. But never let up, never stop, and give er.
I wonder if they sneak Stark in there on the 3rd or 4th line OR are the coaches afraid he will get hurt?
One thing's for sure, this head checking crap has to stop not to mention the circus after each play. Refs need to take control of this and send a message to both teams.

Unfortunately Schmidt wasn't taught to use his size effectively. He's a huge man.
Probably on the Calisimo hit that had Chromiak taking the instigator on.
That was a massive hit.

I was wondering how this team was going to handle the physicality of a playoff series even against what should be an inferior opponent. We aren't getting run out of the rink by any means but it definitely has an effect on how we're playing.
We're going to find out in the next 5 periods.

Xu hit Thobadeau(sp) and he did his best to sell it for a five. Then has a miracle gets blessed by a Monk comes back healthy almost right away.

I get most teams have homer announcers but Flints Play x Play announcer Brian Gardner is really hard to listen to IMO.
I think Xu had a decent game. The penalty was legit, but I dont think Xu saw where the puck was. Played more of a simple game and for the most part kept the offensive in front of him.
With that said...Hope Reid is ok.
Hope the boys put it away tomorrow night. Be loud out there everyone.

We didn't even play that well imo. Close it out tomorrow and hopefully look a little better.
When Reid comes back (hopefully we win tomorrow and he is ready to go game 1 of the next series) do we keep Xu in over MacNeil? I thought he played a very solid game for his first OHL playoff game. MacNeil has been beat a couple times this series.
Hlacar scores and then punches the guy. He is the type of player we have not had in a couple seasons. Think he has had a great series.
Ando having a much better playoffs then regular season.
Pridham has great wheels and a great shot. I know it’s unlikely but he would probably be the best OA in the OHL next year if he returns.
Parsons solid.
Really going to need to get Romano line going if we are going to have a chance if we get by Flint. The only good news is all 3 of them are very solid 2 way players so they aren’t hurting us but at some point at even strength they need to step up and produce.

That Flint announcer reminds me of Sheldon from the Big Bang. Fingers on his temple trying to use his brain to mentally blow the Ranger players heads off.
