Owen Sound seems to be a well coached team. They match up well with the Rangers. Rangers PK was amazing last night. The Attack did a great job at breaking up plays and keeping the Rangers to the outside. It was a tight win and a great measuring stick for the play offs. Both teams played physical and had something to play for in this game. Hard to believe the Rangers hit 100 points.

Neither would have been that Soo travel. I think it’s done in 6.
Would Birch get them a plane this early in the playoffs if the greyhounds were the opponents ie 17-18?

Playoffs never are. We beat Flint 3 out of 4 in the regular season with the 3 going into OT or a shoot out. They talk about the Owen Sound games being close but all 4 with Flint were one goal games, showing that we can win the close ones. Flint also sort of limps towards the finish line. I like our chances for a "rebuilding" team.

Flint will be a challenge in a good way. Nathan Day is currently ranked 8th while McCue, Thibodeau, Kaden, and Aspinall have shown what they can do. I would think planning for Flint is already underway if not earlier. Jussi and the coaching staff will have the boys ready. It's up to them to execute and play their butts off. Going to be a fun one!
