Kitchener Rangers 2024-25 Season Thread, Part III

I wouldn't say that. Lalonde kind of handed you the game with the last 3 regulation goals, but then found his focus again in a big way. It was an extremely entertaining game. I'm looking forward to a potential playoff matchup.
I mean sure, but I don't think Parsons let's in 4 goals on 13 shots if you play that game again....

Three of our goals were deflections and the fourth banked in off Hlacar. What are your expectations for a tender?

……..Factor in four very good draft picks in the first three rounds next year, in what is supposed to be a strong draft in first two rounds, and our 09 group should be strong contributors to the 26–27 season…….
Despite the Rangers owning those two high Peterborough picks for the upcoming draft, I admit to still having felt a bit sorry for the Pete’s at the beginning of the season. Not so much anymore. In fact now, with around two dozen games left, I wouldn’t be surprised if they get past a few teams by game number 68 the way they’re playing. Who saw that coming?

With all those comp picks inflating this year’s first round, combined with the fact that Rangers could very likely pick 2nd or 3rd last in the first round, I still had hope for some “reasonably placed” 2nd and 3rd round picks for the Rangers. I’m not quite as optimistic now. On the other hand I suppose if we had a couple of expansion teams enter the league next season it could have been worse.

A whole lot of watching in that 3rd period. Zero hustle whatsoever. Don't feel like they deserve a point in this game.

Edit: what in the world was happening before the SO?? Also, I think Parsons knows the coaching staff wasn't happy. Straight off the ice.

I turned on the radio after hoping Fixter would ask Jussi, but nothing. One of the assistants was on his phone on the bench. When he hung up the coaches were all yelling at the officials about something.

Only 2 things I can think of
they wouldn’t let Lam shoot due to being in the box at the end of OT
They were told flint was shooting first

I think it is the Lam thing. I know in IIHF events that is the rule but I swear in the NHL and OHL you don't have to stay in the box for the shootout.
