Looked like the Erie player shot the puck down toward the Ranger end after the buzzer and that riled up the Rangers. THen the slashing started.
But it wasn’t even on net and looked like a simple icing type clear. Of course it’s hard to tell hundreds of miles away.

There was a few loose arms at the end, lol. League doesn't like that stuff so I'm sure they will look at the replay. Also isn't there a rule about a fight in the last 2 minutes of the game? Might be an issue for both teams?
If they hand out fighting majors.

Also, there is a widening gap between the top three teams and the rest in this conference. (I type this prior to the game against Erie mind you). Adding a player (or two) gives this team a shot at the West final. However, if that happens, of course the next hurdle is what we're all well aware of.
That gap just got wider. This was a four point game tonight. The gap is 17 points now. We’d have to nose dive hard for Erie to close that gap - especially with Schaefer out long term.

Ok, it will be on the game summary then?

The fight could be an issue, but Ando sitting for going over the cap was inevitable.

Only other things that looked suspension worthy was the multiple lumber jack swings by Fimis and whoever through the sucker punch from the Erie player after. I'm surprised there was that much chaos but no misconducts on top of everything (for those involved and for the enlightening conversations that were had).

Royston will probably get some supplemental discipline for sure as he came over the top ropes with the cheap shot that really set everything off. He also got the worst of it as he left the ice gushing blood needing attention.
When you get scrums like that, you have to start worrying. Sucker punches. Skates, etc.
I didn’t see Ando fighting in that replay though I’m only watching it on my phone. But after the sucker punch, Bilecki engaged and fought I thought with Royston.

That will depend on the demand for Nordh. Not a lot of teams looking for imports I wouldn’t think at the deadline. Most cintenders look to be set in that department. We could use one. Flint may want to upgrade if they are actually buying. Maybe Oshawa might want to improve on one of their ‘06 imports.

Past that, though I can’t be say that I’m an expert on all the imports in the east, there may not be many teams, looking to upgrade their import slot. And that will affect the price.
Sudbury has an open spot

I know that people have mentioned the connection between the Sens and Bulldogs because of their owner but according to Josh Brown in his last article the team has been sold.
"The hot rumour out of Brantford is that Michael Andlauer has sold the squad. The announcement is expected later this month. A Toronto area developer that has a long history with the GTHL is reportedly taking the reins."

Earlier in the game, Otters tried to gang up on Headrick to one side of their net. Rangers to the rescue including Bilecki who was there in a flash for his team mate.
