E) I’m not so sure Andonovski won’t return as an OA next year. Based on Hamara as an OA this year, the Ottawa/Brantford ownership could decide to have Ando play his OA season, if not here, in a forced trade to Brantford where we’d get some return.
Wouldn't Ottawa be OK with Ando staying in Kitchener with the young talent that will be on the team next year?

Not sure how trading an 18 yr old 4th liner says much of anything about direction. Could indicate we are making room for a better 18 year old in the lineup, or make room to give the future more opportunity and stand pat, or the beginning of unloading assets for future picks.
Hope he finds his game down Hwy 7, just not against us!

Has anyone been to a game in Sarnia before? Going to be making the trip and it looks like the arena is more on the outside of town. Any recommendation for where to eat before the game?

Could be he asked for a trade after seeing players acquired and given opportunity ahead of him this year.

But you have to earn your opportunity.

Maybe. But with Brantford likely contending next year, Ottawa may want him dealt to Brantford. They control where he plays next year.
Why does Ottawa have so much power? I realize Andlauer owns both but I don't really see other NHL team owners dictating which CHL team their prospects should play for.

If Ando is back for on OA year and gets traded to Brantford, I would hope the return is significantly better than what the Rangers got back for Hamara.

Firenze's Pizza is only 10 minutes away and some of the best pizza I've ever had. About 10 minutes from the rink.

Ottawa and Brantford owned by the same guy. That means, they can dictate where a player plays if he is Ottawa Senators property. They can tell the Rangers that they’ll send him back for his OA season only if they trade him to Brantford. That sort of thing has happened in the past when an NHL team also owns an OHL team.

Think they can push for a trade when a prospect gets slotted down the line from where they want them to be in terms of exposure and experience. Not sure they can have those concerns with Ando. Hope we still control the future for him so we don’t get fleeced like we did with Hamara.

I'm sure MM is getting inquiries on Ando. A big tough stay at home defenseman will be an asset teams in contention will target for sure. If MM gets an offer he can't refuse I think he would be wise to take it.

Firenzies pizza if it's open in the afternoon.
I think there's a popular BBQ place just on way into town off 402 but I'd call for reservation on a game day. I wanna guess Bains?
Post on Sting site they'll help ya out.

He should get atleast the picks that cam Allen brought in. Not sure an 08 but maybe an 07 with alright potential as well like Jenken

If Kitchener is serious about the bid for the mem cup they have to at the very least consider it

I think any Andonovski trade will have to be to the east. All of Barrie, Brampton, Kingston, Niagara and Brantford have the picks and the need.

I’m thinking the Cam Allen return is the minimum acceptable return.

Oshawa could use him too but their pick cupboard isn’t deep.

All would be dealing for a rental but Brantford would be dealing for a player they can insure would return for an OA season if they so choose.

For me, recognizing that, along with the light return for Hamara last year, any deal with Brantford must be as if they’re getting a 1.5 year player. Play hardball with that team who basically forced a light Hamara deal.

If offers get down to two teams, and one team is Brantford, force the Bulldogs to pay more if they want this player. They owe us.

Don't be shocked if some of the picks for Allen are partial payment for a possible part 2 of that deal for a certain London born player at Team Canada camp. Balance of payment would need to include a top young Knights prospect.

Even if the prospect is Hawery, that’s light for both Allen and Luchenko. Way light.

I was thinking the same thing. The amount of picks plus a young prospect is a bit overboard of a trade the Hunters would make given past trade deadline deals. I would think 2 or 3 prospects ( Bidgood being one) and picks coming back to London will be in the works for Luchanko

That would make sense. Hawery for London boy Luch otherwise that is a hell of a haul for Allen considering they already have Dickinson and Bonk.
