2025 Draft will look nothing like previous years. Going to be very exciting! Hope we have the scouting staff to handle it. Maybe we put Even Steven on the payroll?

Never really had any info on Xu to begin with. Just like what I saw in him via the scouting reports and hoped we’d take a flyer on him in hopes we could get him to report. Then afterwards, to hear that he was going to school (St Andrew’s?) and NCAA afterwards meaning he was a student first player, had me writing him off as a possibility.
But now I see he’s in the OJHL. Who knows? He may want to explore playing here before making the jump to NCAA?
I don’t know about that! I’m a terrible judge of talent!

Per JB Kitchener released the rights to Kos and hopes to get one of the 3 to join Chromiak. (MM is willing to explore options if they don’t come.)

While imports are being sorted out, something regarding the OA situation should be resolved soon. At least that's what MM indicated.
Interesting that XU who was bent on playing in the U.S. is now back here on an OHJL team. More to this I'm sure.

He did not make Muskegon after getting his rights traded. It’s not unheard of for college bound kids to play a year in the ojhl/gojhl before heading to the states the following year. Ryder Cali is doing it.

Once this team is healthy way too many watching in the stands. 8D healthy right now and now the kids have to watch even though they have been playing fine. I really hope Ando and Swick are traded shortly. Lots of knowledgeable fans will be disappointed if Swick is not the OA traded and Ando doesn’t get moved at all.

I’m all for the internal competition on the backend. They’ve had stretches over the last couple years where multiple D have gone down at the same time.

There won’t be a huge market for OA’s this year. But there might be a market for Swick.

Could see a team like Oshawa try and get him if roobroeck doesn’t come back. Big body who can score, fight and play in the top 6. you’d probably get Torrence back in a deal for that and Torrence is better than Pug. However someone will want Misaljevic too and maybe it’s strictly picks for him and then your OAs could be Pug, Parsons and Torrence
I think for you guys Swick, Misaljevic, Andonovski all get traded for sure. Maybe Sale too if he comes back, or maybe they trade his rights to a team. You’ll have so many picks for next year and the next holy crap.
Another good team win tonight. These tight games (win or lose) will be great experience for the young core.

Swick would for sure bring the best return but I'm not fully sold that he will be traded in the next week. The only reason I say this is why would you make him an Assistant Captain, then as soon as he's back make videos and other promotional material with him and the other captains only to trade him after like 4-5 games. Just doesn't make sense to me I guess.
ANOTHER come back win. I'm hoping this is an exciting trend.

Was very impressed with how they played with the lead. Rather than dump it in the corner and back off to a trap, they skated the puck into the O zone and maintained control to ear the clock. Think we had the better scoring chances down the stretch than Flint did.

I’d hope that if we have to take an OA back in a Swick deal, that OA is a D.
Swick (it better be him traded as he has value) traded in the next week and Ando I have a feeling traded in January meaning if we take back an OA D we will have 9D for 3 months. That’s a lot of young guys watching and not getting ice time. I don’t like that.

You strike when the iron is hot. If there’s a good deal on the table now for Swick, jump on it.
Holding off because he just came back and is wearing a letter isn’t good business.
That opportunity could try up if the destination team goes in a different direction because they won’t wait til we’re “ready” to trade him.
That could result in us having to move him for considerably less down the road.

I 100% agree with if the deal is there and its can't miss then you take it. I was more meaning that I don't think their initial plan was to trade him as the extra OA a couple of weeks into the season based on the fact that he has been labeled an A and was going to be coming back late from Vegas camp.
