Seems like a different team than the one that started the season hungry and on a tear.

Luckily it's Junior hockey and we can easily come back and change the tide of this game.
They started the season with a chip on their shoulder and now they're playing like they're owed the win or it will just happen. It looks like a massive change in their approach mentally

Moved Bottineau and Pug up with Romano. Ran 3 lines
That line of Bottineau, Pugs and Romano needs to stay together. They almost won the game single handed. Them and some guy named Parsons.

I'm wondering who Swick replaces in the top 3 lines. I'm guessing Elinias, although there's a few other vets that could use a wakeup call.

I hope he keeps those 3 together. Jussi mentioned how well they played when he put them out.

Hopefully it's Sally. He's just taking up space. Looked from day 1 to be someone who disappears in playoffs. Not surprised.

I hope Jussi just sticks with the 3 lines and 4 D too. The lack of depth is really showing already. The 4th line and bottom 2 dmen don't bring much to the table. It's going to make it rough going forward but I think it gives us a chance.

I’d send a message to your big guns….you don’t want to play then take a seat. You can’t sit them all so I start with Sale as he shows up too little for a top 6.

Swick - Sop - Razor
Ellinas - Mesar - Misa
Bott - Romano - Pug
Sale - Mercer - Lam

Wouldn't break my heart. I think he deserves to sit. That said it would shock me if it was Sale.
Yup. Its essentially admitting McKenzie made a big mistake with the trade... and he did, even at the price they got him. Not going to happen as orders come from the top and Jussi is essentially Mike's employee.

It will be Stark who sits but no need to keep Sale in a top 6 role.
Stark, Lam, Romano rookie line was being dominated physically and achieving nothing. Romano with the only impact. Had to be broken up and the bench shortened. Too small, young, and weak to have 3 together as rookies in playoff hockey. Not their fault, just the harsh reality.

Spot on.

Lam has skills galore, Stark growing, but both aren't where they need to be RN to get minutes. Spot O zone duty, that's about it.

Lam gets muscled off the puck way to easily. He's just too small RN. His billet better feed him lots of hormone injected beef!

It is likely Stark will be out of the lineup. The question is if Jussi just plays 3 lines, which I think is likely unless it's back to back games, what player gets knocked out of the top 3 lines when Swick returns next game? I agree it should be Sale but I doubt it happens.

where's Rehcroft??? He's invisible , maybe sit that line for a period so they can watch and learn from 3rd line how to play playoff hockey. Parson's is amazing!!!
Rehkopf has played one difference making shift in the series thus far. Holding the puck against the bords in game 1, getting popped in the face and drawing a penalty. Outside of this he has been a Rangers everyman, interchangeable with 50% of the roster, and not what's needed from your best player. Anyone arguing earlier to give him the C, or with delusions he might be in the NHL next year should keep their yap shut for a few seasons.

Thursday might get rowdy.
