Ben Gaudreau is back between the pipes for the Otters tonight. Hasn't played for a while after missing time with a high ankle sprain. Will be interesting to see how he plays after missing so much time with a tricky injury for a goalie.

Not sure if they are all " ligitimate flyers". Some had the Rangers as the team they wanted to be drafted by and naturally dropped to them. Part of the game to get to where you want to go. Happens with other franchises also. 😊

Otters now have 4 OA's (if I'm not mistaken). So what happens now since you can only have 3 on your roster?
 
I cannot remember the last time I watched a game on TV in Erie's arena....Is it still standard definition? lol:laugh:

Get him out. I’d bring in Malboeuf to start the second. He showed well in the games he played in the last month or so. At least I’m sure he’d stop the odd breakaway.

Do something to shake things up.
 
This play continues and this series will be over Friday night. Rangers looking slow and some players looking disinterested. Start taking the body and driving the net. Way to easy to play against at the moment.
 
Hard to blame Parsons fully. Erie is out chancing Kit and it’s not even close. It’s sad to watch. No heart or desire out of the big players. Team D is brutal. Defence wins championships…..we are seeing this right and we don’t got it. I’m not a Leafs fan but watching this I understand how they feel every playoffs.

Great point Jives. The team is hanging Parsons out to dry for the most part.
3-1 now. If Erie gets the next they should change goalies just to try something to get these guys into playoff mode.

If we play like we did the last 5 minutes of the second period we'll be fine. The kids are bringing it.

PS - Romano is quickly becoming a force: I'd say even a leader.

Just an observation about the broadcast. I think it would be a lot better if Sean Furfaro would be in the booth doing colour instead of between the benches where it's mostly PR. He has a lot of good insight, as well as knowledge of team history.
