Sorry, not everyone. I'm not that impressed with viewing a game there or the facility itself. Personal preference but I would rather go to see a game in Owen Sound or Sarnia. Love the close to the action feel.
Can't disagree since it's your opinion. 👍
There really isn't an OHL arena that I can find fault with unless I nitpick. My least fav arena is no longer in the league and that was the Bunker in Brampton.

The real bonus is a lot of times its 2 games in one day when scouts are in this area. More games they see the better evaluations of the players.
There is no question that scouts would prefer to see players in close proximity to the GTA, but ultimately they will go wherever the talented players are playing. In my section where I have season tickets there was always multiple scouts last year when there was only Goyette as a potential high draft pick.Teams have regional scouts and Kitchener benefitted with Mitchell Martin as a solid draft choice .This year scouts are looking at multiple players including Musty ,Mania,Pharand and Assadourian.

Fairly certain if you ask most regional scouts, they will say they have been in Sudbury at one time or another. Not really doing their job if they haven't been.

Don't hate any arena just felt unwelcome there and felt like I was watching the game from a blimp. Sat too high I guess. Get the same feeling in London if I end up high but usually I get lower bowl there. Not so bad I won't return again but I like other venues better. Cheers.

Interesting that Brown is reporting the practice line is Mesar, Pinelli and Rehkopf. He didn't specify who is playing center, but to start, I wouldn't be shocked if it's Pinelli. Squatter's rights for now. That's three C on one line though, so Dennis isn't afraid to load up.
I'm assuming that this means a 3rd line that possibly consists of Swick and Zidlicky centered by Sop (?)

They can always rotate Pinelli and Mesar at center to see who fits there and who fits the wing together best...also wouldn't hate seeing Rehkopf tried on his off wing if Mesar settles at Centre and Pinelli at LW. I like his shooting ability and puck control from that side if the position switch isn't too jarring to his game away from the puck. I would like to see him settled into a position eventually so he can get comfortable and confident sooner than later, but I guess that goes for everyone.

I have always liked Rehkopf better on his off wing. He is a much more dangerous and accurate shooter from there and he seems to exit the zone just as well.

Rehkopf posting up on the right during those PP against Flint is proof of this. Rangers need that C who can dance around the zone with the puck and find guys in their spot. I think Mesar fits this perfectly. Add in a pinching Brzustewicz and it becomes a dangerous forecheck.

When was the last time Rangers had 2 players ranked in the 1st round? For sure it's early, and only 1 reporters opinion, but it's nice to see!

31. Hunter Brzustewicz, D, Kitchener Rangers (OHL): Passes it like a pro, with pace and accuracy. Can run a PP1 in junior, but will that skill project to the next level?

32. Carson Rehkopf, C, Kitchener Rangers (OHL): At his best he can impact the game in a number of ways. Consistency in effort will help achieve that, even if points aren’t produced.

I'm guessing 2011 - Landeskog and Murphy.

I expected them to be ranked a little higher to be honest. I expect to see them crawl up the rankings as the season goes on.

Oh yeah, someone tell Hage Siberia is waiting for him to heal up and join the pack! That might have a few scouts looking for Airbnb rentals…
I mean it might as well be Siberia when Chicago is his other alternative...I keep expecting that there's been news of his committing when I see these posts, but nothing so far. The optimism is admirable at least.

Seeing Hage play in the OHL is like the Sasquatch that saw a human and the other Sasquatches wouldn't believe him.
