I alluded that if a two part deal does happen, the first part of the deal has to look semi-legit. I don't think the Rangers currently have immediate tradeable assets to accomplish bringing in a meaningful player. None they're willing to part with at this time.They may not be allowed (Kadri rule), but they do happen, and can happen. All the teams have to do is keep quiet and not send the same picks back that we’re acquired in part one of the deal.
I'm not sure how much interest Parsons might generate having some question marks because of his injury. I suppose some team might take a flyer. It could at least be enough for a two parter.
