Suzuki is a really good player. Dach plays a meaner game though. IMO Dach and Suzuki are ideally a club’s 2C.
He's meaner than Suzuki yes. That's one reason why a lot of observers see him more as a Winger than a Center.

If he can find his game, I'd call 2 2nd his value. Same thing MTL got for Eller.

Most offers seem to revolve around a 2nd, coming back from an off season. It's not a bad starting point.

And how are the Hawks doing? They’re going to teaching for a long time to find a big centre to play behind Bedard.
Dach is not a 2nd line center.
AND
While he is big and has delivered a few decent hits (when he sees guys coming) his game is simply too soft for a center. He plays too weak to fulfill a centers defensive responsibilities.

Unlike Newhook this guy is just coming off an entire lost season. That’s bad of course in and of itself but I’d give him some more time. He’s got physical traits. He’s probably better as a lanky playmaking winger...I don’t see him as a good 5v5 center solution. But he’s definitely got offensive tools.

Habs can’t sell this low on him. See what he looks like at the end of the year, not at the end of a October blow-out loss.

He's had two lost seasons before turning 23.
