People are out to lunch with this guy which is mind boggling given the injury he suffered.

He's the worst player in the league
He'd go unclaimed if he hit waivers
Never deserved to be taken this high
All of his production came as a winger with Suzuki Caufield
1. He has certainly been one of the worst
2. He would get claimed
3. Debatable
4. Mostly true

Really looking better. More confident with the puck. The playmaking’s coming back. Stoked
It’s all about the skating. He’s turning on a dime again. His first step is much better. He’s getting back to his slippery board play. And he’s starting to attack the middle of the ice again like he did in 2023.

He’s just gotta keep it up. The second line C talent is there.

Great to see him really starting to turn the corner, and it is no coincidence that we are starting to win as we also fixed the Barron disaster and filled a gaping hole at RD. Now we just need Slafkovsky to start making plays and creating his own shot as well a return to the abusive forechecking that he displayed in the second half of last season. He is so frustrating to watch right now.

Exactly, he's definitely gained an extra gear. A few games ago I recall making a sharp turn at the blue line and making his defender fall. His Edgework is getting there. Yesterday he made a dump in and got there first. People need to realize that in a game that involves skating, following a knee injury it won't happen overnight...

Let's hope this is a sign of things to come, Dach playing at his previous level could be the push needed to get to that WC spot.
He’s not though. There are glimpses but he was also at fault for two goals against tonight. At least if he can be like Laine and produce while playing like shit, that’s one thing. Baby steps I guess

Yup dach was on the ice so he gets blamed for anything that happened. Weak attempt to save face after Dach continues to embarrass the haters. 😆

He isn't embarrasing anyone. The critisisms were warranted. We are all Habs fans at the end of the day, and Dach's success is good for all of us. Some fans choose to look at things differently, but we all want the same outcome.

I mean blaming the first goal on him is a stretch. He made a bad pass that led to a breakout. Broken passes lead to breakouts all the time.

Dach covered his man, Arber got beat and Newhook was late to help out with coverage. Even with the turnover, it turned into a 3v3 counter attack.

Its definition of a reach.

I didn't blame him for anything today. Direct your ire somewhere else.

Yeah saying he should be waived/traded/demoted and calling him lazy was never warranted. There was no excuse to not understand he would take time to recover but a large group of so called "fans" decided to shit all over him here. They should be embarrassed and they still haven't learned, they blame him for anything that happens when he is on the ice as they did in this game too. It's nice to see them eat crow.

He’s got the Slaf 2023 syndrome where everyone is micro analyzing every one of his shifts. You’ll find mistakes with any player with this approach.

It’s classic Montreal that once its fans sour on a player, they just can’t overcome the bitterness. The most they can do is backhand compliments.

It’s all about trends, and he’s been trending positive. And the proof is that it’s starting to show up on the scoresheet. He’s got some ways to go, but he’s getting better game to game.
