Great news, he can probably start skating in a couple of weeks. Don't rush him though, just take the time to heal properly.
As long as they let him cook a bit in the AHL for a half year to make sure he progresses and learns the game, I’m all in on your rehab program.

I started physio 2-weeks after my my ACL reconstruction procedure. They wait 2-weeks for swelling to reduce then have to get the new ligament to start gaining full extension

It is not free, nothing is free. Taxes pay for it. If you had your life disrupted and you were unable to do the things you love for two years I am guessing you would see things differently.
I guess I would wouldnt I?
I guess I should give myself shit for being careful over the years.
Maybe you should call his surgeon and tell him to drop everything he's doing and get his shit together and bypass everyone else who's kindly waiting since you're so concerned for someone you didn't know existed 5 minutes ago.
Are you done now, Robert?

You are a true hero, look after yourself so you don't need surgery. What a stupid comment. No one is asking for a surgeon to drop everything, it is just a comment on our so called world class health care. Grow up pup.

For what it’s worth, I think Dach had his surgery done in the states. So the team likely paid privately for it.

I honestly assumed all sports surgeries were performed in the US.

Everyone’s Canadian healthcare experience differ greatly. Some folks wait 2 years for knee surgery, some wait a week. Some elderly people in Niagara have to find a way to travel to Mississauga for a midnight MRI, a young, rich yuppie from Hamilton gets scheduled for a 10am MRI in Niagara.

Funny how we have universal health care. My bro in law waited close to 2 years for a knee surgery.
I’m sure anyone with money can get private help. Free health care is meant as a safety net me thinks, a baseline. 2 yrs sucks though, obviously.

Anyhoot imagine the 2 years of boring interviews and talking heads talking about where he sits on the waiting list lol omg the speculatory threads on hf.

Those “has come back from knee surgury top shape” stats look good though.
