I do Three bullets.
Yeah?He had SOME. Now he has NONE. Easy enough, eh?
I'll let the other 31 GM's who's actual jobs it is to determine that, thanks!

Maybe the best bet is to just move on and send a message to the team to start getting serious. The little clique of group hug and dip after a win - get rid of him and Dvorak. It’s time to drill the message of "put up or shut up" to the core 3 forwards. Don’t need players like Dvorak and Dach that can’t be bothered to do anything positive 80% of the time.Uhh what kind of trade value you think he had to begin with lol
People talking about buyouts too like are you guys serious lol
He has 1 yr 3.3M left, we're going to be OK lol
Just because we gotta find a real new 2C, doesn't mean Dach can't become somewhat serviceable as a top6 winger
We SAW him do it 2 years ago
Or, he gets moved for a pick
It happens.
You are welcome!Yeah?

Same was said about Markov after what was it, 3 years in a row of injuring his knee?Part of it is what you wrote, other part is that you can’t rely on him to dress up consistently. Players like Tim Connolly are not to be kept around if you want stability.
He can’t be counted on and we are above that for our next leap up.
Imo being injury prone is less about having weak physical joints/bones/muscles etc and more about lacking the awareness/IQ to avoid dangerous contact.
Look at this play from a few weeks ago, absolutely insane way to play this. Guhle has the same problem.
I don’t even think Bergevin would be that naive

But Markov was already one of our best players if not, at times, our best player. Dach has never been that. Dach was always potential. Dach has had most of his first several years in the NHL shortened. It's hard not to be concerned about how this has impacted his development.
Actually contract year next year might be the saving grace, no more overpaying for what could be hoping to get a bargain down the line, make it clear he’s only getting paid what he’s worth or he’s free to sign an offer sheetUnbelievable. He just can't stay healthy.
Next year is a contract year. It's the final year of the four year deal he signed after being traded to Montreal.
If he can't stay healthy & get going in a contract year, it's never going to happen for him.
So much size & skill.... it's always "what if" with Dach. We can't go forward counting on him.
Really man?Actually contract year next year might be the saving grace, no more overpaying for what could be hoping to get a bargain down the line, make it clear he’s only getting paid what he’s worth or he’s free to sign an offer sheet
Somehow this summer we will still get posters who pencil Dach in as the 1C over Suzuki
Those players you listed didn’t have the same production on Chicago.Dach has many other problems. But the narrative that Chicago knew for a fact 120% he would never pan out is absolutely ridiculous as he was just 21. The main reason he was traded is the same as DeBrincat, Hagel and the same reason the Hakws did not qualify Dylan Strome. That reason is curently the Hawks first line center.
It's kind of funy that the same management who knew for a fact Dach would not pan out actually misread Dylan Strome to a point they actually let him go for absolutely nothing. Nah the Hawks knew what they were doing when they traded all their young players like Hagel, Dach and DeBrincat and that plan was called Connor Bedard.
When are you changing your nick for DachKnee?Unbelievable. He just can't stay healthy.

Honestly maybe we will learn he was never 100% this season.
At this point I would trade him for Zegras![]()
No we did not.

Of course I feel bad for him but I feel worse for us.Really man?
This guy’s career is now hanging by a thread. I think most people would be happy just to see him complete a season.
not doing anything to merit playing on a competitive team.Xhekaj isn't adding anything?
i doubt newhook will be a good 3rd liner. I think its time to pull the plug on him.Newhook will not be in the top six. I’d say that’s pretty certain. He’d be a good 3rd liner though.
Struble is gone. I think Xhejac is here long term.
Dach and Markov though, not the same.. Markov played in 87% of games for 8 years before the ankle and knee injuries, and averaged 0.7 pts per game doing it. Dach has never in his 6 seasons hit 87% of games (he averages 55%) and also averages about .45pts per game. He had one brief blip of looking promising for us. He can't be the plan for 2C if nothing better comes along. He's inconsistent and injury-prone and we need someone else.Same was said about Markov after what was it, 3 years in a row of injuring his knee?
At the end of the day, Dach at 3.5M isn't a problem on the roster. If he had a big year and was about to sign for 7.5M that is when the decisions get difficult. I think trying to bring him along for now is fine. It would be nice to get a different 2c for next year though, if one becomes available.
Yes, I wasn't saying Dach and Markov are the same. I was saying it's possible Dach comes back from his knee injury.Dach and Markov though, not the same..
