I'll admit I did not like his game as much since the team started slumping. Stopped doing some of the things he had been doing in terms of zone entries, forcing his game instead of waiting and going to the net.

I wouldn't put much stock into Chicago trading him, Davidson is a clown who has no idea what he's doing.

He let a 24 year old Dylan Strome go for literally nothing, he's a 6'3" centre averaging a point per game this year. He also traded a 23 year old Brandon Hagel for later first round picks who will likely never be close to as good as Hagel.

Because of their shitty rebuild and not keeping any respectable players around, their franchise player has been stuck playing with guys like Nick Foligno, Ilya Mihkeyev and something called Landon Slaggert this year.

Chicago is just so well run, if only the habs could see the future like them. How can we trade guys like strome and Hagel away?

I hope that Dach realizes that he had an awful year and it's on him. He needs to train hard over the next 8 months, as hard and as well as he's ever trained, or he will be on his way to a career in Europe.

Dach is the Drouin at center V2, it didn't work then and it isn't working now.
