Off topic but searched up senneckes stats vs the fronts in his career.

Rookie year 9pts in 7 games
Draft year 9pts in 7 games
This year 16 in 7 (so far)

34 pts in 21 games gives him a 1.62 ppg over his career with a 2.28 this year

not to rip into the team because that was an awesome game and comeback win but they have to do a better job against sennecke and Oshawa next time they play which may be hard to do as Ritchie will be back for sure plus whoever they get at the trade deadline

Wouldn't be surprised to see tonight's game get postponed. Barrie is getting/going to be dumped on with snow and ice. Environment Canada said don't travel unless you absolutely have to. Probably best to push that game back a bit lol

100%. Tough break on the first goal but I think if Burns doesn't tap it in the Gens forward rushing taps it in. I think he'd like the Buckley PP goal back but that was an absolutely moronic penalty for Pickell to take.

I don't understand how no one retreated when the Sennecke penalty was ending... Betts was slamming his stick and with a guy as dangerous as Sennecke you cannot let him in free.

Oster seemed to really struggle with traffic tonight, the Burns goal and the Moore were almost exact copies - McCuaig didn't get a point but he had a nice high screen on Burns' goal.

@Scout - could you check how many minutes Burns played tonight on InStat? It could be just that i notice him more but I swear he must've been pushing 35-37 minutes tonight and it feels like it's been up around there since Pieniniemi left.

The game breakdown wasn't loaded yet when I looked earlier this am.

Rumours of gens adding an elite forward and an elite d.

We just beat them last night without Pieniniemi, Uronen, Dervin and McGowan but they didn’t have Wang or Ritchie. Now they could be potentially adding the best defensive d in the league and potentially a top tier “elite elite goalscorer”

Fronts are toast. Need atleast 3 moves if not more and I’m not sure that’ll even be enough. I’d prefer a light sell at this point. Maybe just burns and Miedema they can get a young player back, maybe 2 depending on quality if it’s both of them along with picks. Push for 2026-2027 and hope Dervin stays then is what I’d do.

Smoking something if we think we have a chance with these potential moves being made and barrie being rumoured to be making more- and they’re already a tier above us when everyone’s there

I don’t like being the guy bringing people down and all that but I like to stay realistic and the reality is a lot needs to change in order to have success this year.

Based on GUs reply to the tweet (assuming that's where you saw the forward rumour) with an army helmet I have to think they're talking about Romani.

They have almost no picks so if they're making two trades it's gotta be Smith for one and Griffin for the other.

Unless it's not Romani and that rumoured Kennedy trade is bigger with something like Kennedy + OVS for Smith or Griffin and D'Amato - which is right along the elite OA prices since NB got Moses for Wakely.

I get where you're coming from but if they sell everything they've done for the for the past 3 years will have been worthless. They have 2 good '07s and one of them isn't even a lock to be here - no matter who you get in a sell that's not gonna be enough to compete. The awful drafting as almost made it a necessity that they go in this year, and then rebuild for at least 2 years.

I was really hoping the Barrie game would go ahead tonight to see where we stand against them but I guess we'll have to wait.

Yes a horrible place to be in right now. They have to make a very important decision regarding the team and I think it’s not too late to write off this year and I also think that’s why they’ve been taking so long on making trades- seeing where players go etc before they commit to being real buyers

i think we would get destroyed with 2/3 of their WJC back in the lineup and probably pissed off

If Cooper is smart, he will do a sell. Nothing big, But you have to read the tea leaves

Oshawa is going to be a power Niagara is good then if we get past them we would have to face London.

The obstacle is, of course, what is out there for trades. There are not many first-round players available.

An 18 or 19-year-old is going to be a good part of the team we will trade with. So you are looking at a mid-range 16/17 year-old

No offence but Cooper screwed up last year was the year to sell. Ludwinski, Thibodeau et al. would have brought more.

Thibs actually brought a great package back. Lots of picks same with frasca- I was impressed.


The 2 mistakes were not trading ludwinski last year and not picking a 16 year old who would report such as Luca Blonda, Tyler Challenger, Alex McLean etc
