I know it would cost more but we have the assets for some one other than an OA dman. I would check on people like Tristan Bertucci or Spencer Sova. Aim big first.
Trevor Mcdowell signed to North Bay, he was a 4th rd pick in 2020.
2004 born 6"4' Dman was playing Trenton. Did we miss something. He was in our backyard.

Looks like no Savard again today. He's still on the roster online right now but then again so is Schneider so it probably just hasn't been updated.

I agree another good skill d man who will be here this year and next would be ideal but probably cost a lot if they do something like this it’ll probably be around wjc time I would assume

That’s good he’s tall and all but clearly not ohl ready if we haven’t called him up and he’s been in our system for years

Fronts have only had 1 power play the whole day. Ottawas going on their 6th.

Typical Ottawa reffing

I don't think he was in our system

What I mean is we drafted him and had his rights, if we never called him up he must not have been ohl ready. And it’s 19 years old as a rookie so we will see how that goes with north bay

windsor drafted him

how do you know that hes better then what they have?

and what has more potential? some guy that's 16/17/18 not in the league or someone that's 19 and not in the league? fronts must not have seen much potential in the guy. not to tear him apart or anything but in 133 OJHL games he has a whopping 20 points. keep in mind that's 1 league below the OHL.

if we called him up to play or signed him to play as a 19 year old this season. who is he playing more than? uens? mcgowan? chromiak?

what I'm saying is if you couldn't make it 3 other years you're not going to be some stud walk on in your 4th year
i agree, im asking ktown why he thinks he is better then what they have in kingtson? hes never played an OHL game and hes 19. hes an 04 thou, and ktown seems to have a very close relationship with 04s in the area.

I think neither will be traded. But thought of a fourth ‘05 gold education made me laugh.
:)

I agree. unlikely they will be. Beau Akey in barrie has better odds of being traded. However I think it’s more likely next year he is rather than this year.

Don’t know if anyone said this already however Hopkins got his first ohl goal today against Ottawa in his first day back from the u17’s Would like to see the kid get more playing time then the 4th line especially after such a good time with team Canada. He has the speed that’s for sure. Reminiscent of Paul Ludwinskis first year with the fronts (as a 17yr old obviously because of the Covid year)

He’ll need to earn it as the team is crazy deep. I expect he’ll get more ice time after Christmas. Often the case with 16 year olds. Even on the fourth line it’s not like he is with two plugs that only fight. He was with Outwater today who on paper should be one of the better forwards in the league.

It was his 2nd OHL goal. He scored his first also against Ottawa in October.
Oh! You’re right oops lol. I remember clicking during the game and searching up Hopkins and it said 1 goal but now I just checked it and it says 2.

Yeah you’re right. I think the kid has a very bright future ahead of him. It’s a blessing and a curse to be this deep up front for the development of players like Hopkins.

For their first round pick in this coming draft 100% see them drafting a d man

I don’t see Akey moved either. Barrie should be battling with Missassaga next season.

Yeah, but it’s like that with teams like the Knights where there is not much more than spot duty for their 16 year old rookie and then they shine at 17 in a much bigger role. He should be fine.
