This! I never mind him losing the puck to a defenseman if he’s forcing the defenseman to make a good play. That happens. Make them work. Same with flooding the net front. Even if it doesn’t work it softens up the opponent and the added dimension makes the offense doubly potent.Trocheck is really the only player we have that forces the defenders back. Most shovel the puck down deep and try and go wide. Trocheck isn't afraid to challenge the defenders. If he just had that next tier level, he'd be an outstanding player.
