Well, the way they were playing there for awhile, you can't blame people for getting steamed at them. I've been a Kings fan since, well never mind that but, I had given up on them for this season. So, they've turned it around and playing now like the Kings we know and love. So, don't blame people for getting pissed off at them for awhile.

Difference between getting pissed off at the team than saying "I'm done with this team".

Still not out of the woods.

The boy's have simply climbed out of the hole they dug. Now they have to play some solid consistent hockey the rest of the way.
 
That was classic playoff JQ that game. He made like 5 or 6 saves that kept the tally for the Avs at one. Not to mention that after the 2nd, the team buckled down and played their game. Solid, solid win.

I'm not gonna go back and pull up the posts because I'm not gonna be an *******. But it was definitely said.
 
To be honest, this is one of those games where Quick needs a lot more love than he's getting. Lots of the shots were volume/harmless padding his save percentage, so I'm not talking about that...I'm talking about how he saved every stupid ass breakdown we threw at him, like Greene's accidental Gretzky pass off our net or the breakdown allowing Tanguay to get wide open in front. We asked for the extra save from Quick--he made at least 5 on sure goals tonight.

He's the only reason we're not looking at this game and going "wow so much for that winning streak, we're right back to the Caps game" and posters going 'lol Quick we need you better than .850."

You caught that Greene pass too ? Man that was funny. I was literally thinking right then "Greene is going to cough this puck up".
 
I went to the main board expecting to see one of those QUICK WITH THE SOTY!!!!! threads but nope. We classless Kings fans seem to know better. Though Quick DEFINITELY deserves the honors.

What a couple of saves tonight.
 
That leg save by Quick near the end of the game was insane. Our season really does start now, no time to worry about past losses.

Still worried about our defense and bottom 6, but if they keep winning, I'll take it.
