Kings Win 3-1; Boring Hockey Leads To Fourth Straight Win

Unfortunately most teams around us are winning too.

Though luckily not that many 3 point games this past week.

I think we can forget Dallas. Weak D and Seguin out.

Undefeated in the 'I Want To Believe' era. Just sayin'.

Also undefeated since I blew up here after the Florida game and adorned the dumpster fire in the GDT. :)

Oh yeah, it stays until we go bad again. :)

Trying to write something up about how bad the Pens fourth line is. Comparing it to the Kings. Is your most common fourth line - Nolan, Clifford and ?

That Cartman short though where he drops the 2nd Stanley Cup on Kenny wearing the Caps jersey had me in stitches.

They did the same short for the Calgary game on Thursday.

There is another one where he carries in both Cups into the scene and there is a little duck in front of one of them and he kicks the duck out of the scene. Guess who the opponent was?

It's great that they are exploiting the Stanley Cup wins in those Cartman shorts; they are hilarious.

There has been a lot movement there and shifting around, but right now Sutter seems to be sticking with Clifford on LW, Shore at C, and Nolan at RW.

Probably not a good idea unless you're comparing to another 'bad' fourth line because as Sutter said we haven't had a fourth line as long as he's been here

Considering how much he has employed the fourth line I'm sure he was joking.

Don't forget his symbolic gesture of having the fourth line on the ice as the final seconds ticked down for the 2012 Cup win. He made it clear in post-game interviews that that was intentional.

Do you mean lately? Because the rest of the season they were getting 5 minutes if lucky.

The quote was from back when Andreoff entered the lineup and the same day he was talking about people *****ing about playing time and needing to earn it or something. He was referencing how the bottom six has largely produced nothing his whole time here. Let's be real, they've been timely in the playoffs, but most of the regular seasons, we're complaining about Stoll, Lewis, et. al. not putting up anything.

What's up with Gaborik playing physical lately? He's got 7 hits in last 2 games and 20 hits in total all season!

He's looked all fired up out there, very motivated and hungry. I'll take it, must mean he's fully healthy and ready to go!

@reallisa
No practice for the LA Kings today. Spoke to Sutter briefly. He said that Drew Doughty is OK. Some players were over here for treatment.

When LAK has their forecheck game working, they're impossible to play against...
When they're getting bounces on top of that...it's almost unfair.
When they're getting goals from Farm Animals, Stonehands & Mr. Andrews...

opponents should save money on hotels in LA and just move on to the next game on the schedule and not bother. :sarcasm:

Playing for the Canes and Sabres will **** up anyone's development. McBain has shown he's a good offensive defenseman and very effective if his minutes are contained to PP and the O zone. At 550,000 bucks it's totally worth his occasional defensive zone turnovers.

McBain has always been a productive defender. It was a savy move by Lombardi.

Sure they guy is not a defensive stalwart, but the Kings are not asking him to be.

Sutter gave McBain two simple instructions "Move the puck, get pucks on net". Simple.
