Good game by Kopitar. Gaborik had a nice assist and congrats to Sekera on his first goal as a King.

Schneider is a really good goalie, played well this game. Too bad the skaters are absolute trash. Feel bad for him.

Feels good to be the league's darling, hopefully the NHL hands us more wins.

Look what happens when Kopi beasts it. Nice to see Marty and Richie back, as well as Sekera getting a goal. Keep rollin rollin rollin...

Richards was setting up people left and right. Too bad he had no finishers on his wings. Didn't we have this conversation earlier in the year?

It is what it is. Richards just has to provide solid Center play. Stoll was not providing it. Richards made two really good grade A passes that didn't get buried. But those are the breaks.

Richards had a good defensive game today; the most important skill that will keep him in the NHL. Good interception, clean faceoff wins, and a good forecheck shift that led to scoring chance by Lewis. Needs to keep it up, really happy to see him back.

Nice to take care of business instead of losing a lead.

Kopi played like we know he can. The D was really solid tonight. Was pleasantly surprised by how spry Richards looked and his lack of rust.

Sekera: the guy just keeps getting better and better as he settles in. He and Doughty on the point were exceptional and it's why the PP was so impressive, even when they didn't score.

No. We had the conversation about a player unable to keep up in the defensive zone, he was not in Manchester for lack of offensive production if that were the case Stoll would be playing in a beer league in Sask.

He looked better tonight as he was handling the puck well and didn't have any glaring defensive mistakes that were a nightly occurrence before going down. I thought his icetime and usage by DS was solid, put him in a good spot and he played well,

Lewis is good on anyone's line, just don't expect him to score. Even though Lewis is having a career year :)

Yeah, Mike Richards was solid. Kopitar was great. Tomorrow is going to be a big test, though. We should've beaten the Devils but the Rangers will be the big game. I wonder if Sutter goes with Jones or Quick.

Quick will be in net, the Kings can't afford losses. I doubt Jones gets another game this season , unless the Kings clinch with games left.

MR's backcheck and skating is what i noticed most tonight. he wasn't in cruise control like he was doing prior to the waiver. he kept his feet moving and staying in the play. solid game imo for him tonight.

Shore and Stoll can battle for the #4C spot as far as i'm concerned.

the one glaring item to me was on the #1PP and the current config. no one is screening the keeper and no one is close enough to play the rebounds (if there are any). #2PP always had someone, usually DB parked in front of Schneider. perhaps it is a strategy they are using to throw off the opponent, but without traffic you aren't going to score 99% of the time.

with AMart back i hope Sutter uses this as an opportunity to rest the D. give each guy a night off to save their legs....yeah possibly including DD. HERESY!!!

Didn't catch the game, but really glad to hear that Kopitar stepped up, Mike had a good game, and Sekera got on the board. It's do or die, keep on winning. GO KINGS!

But seriously, are Minnesota, Calgary or Winnipeg ever going to lose another game?

I doubt it. Calgary has really impressed me how they're winning even though they lost Giordano. I'm pretty sure the Kings would unravel on the blueline if the same thing happened to Doughty.
