QFT. Amen, brother. Common sense. Some here can learn by gaining some perspective.

Oh SOME here can LEARN.....QUICK WAAAAAAAAHHHHHH.

I just wanted to see what it felt like to whine about everything. See how the other half lived.
;)

I agree by the way with what you are saying. I also know that allot of our posters are just blowing off a bunch of steam after losing a game where we outplayed our opponent but ended up losing in a shootout.

It will all fall back into place after JQ gets another win or when TT scores another goal or etc etc etc.

It takes some pendulum swingers to find out where even is.

Ellerby is a good project player long-term for us, so in case anyone thinks I meant we should get rid of him, nope. Maybe all these things he does that I find odd are things the Florida organization told him to do? It wouldn't surprise me at all considering Gudbranson is developing on a not very good path himself. He just needs coaching and considering we own his rights I'm sure he'll be kept as a #7 D and learn the ropes. He's 24 but in terms of development quite a ways behind that age.

I don't see anyone saying Quick is above criticism or should be getting every start. The majority of the "Quick loyalists" just want to give him a chance to right himself. I don't want to kick him to curb after what would be only a quarter of an actual regular season. JB can have his starts but I just don't believe you name him starting goaltender over Quick.

Edit: Also, it's not like Quick is dancing on piles of cash, laughing as he gives up goals. You can see from his reactions in giving up goals that his play is driving him crazy. He's doing everything in his power to get back to the way he was. I have no doubt he will get through this and back to being one of the best goaltenders in the league.

A missed call followed by a couple power plays that wouldn't have happened. Not getting a bounce here or there against a team that's only lost 3 at home in regulation. A game the Kings controlled for large portions, and will probably win 8 out of 10 times if they play that way.

And 7 pages of craziness, blaming certain players, madness, etc.... Jeez one bounce/call would have turned it into a well-deserved win. Lay off the coffee, people!

NO F-in way will I give them credit! The only great thing I saw was the home ice calls. At no point did I see the Wild dominate or play like a great team.

agreed aside from some odd man rushes it was all kings. its easy to give another team credit but the wild were no good tonight.

The wild didn't deserve to win. They aren't on our level imo. Our defense needs to get better we let a few shots but boy when we let them it's good ones. I forgot when but I remember two plays that looked the same when they skated easily to the dot and shot the puck back to back.
Our defense needs to be better, wild isn't a scary team. When we have our defense playing well consistently we will smack teams like the wild to the trash.

I give the Wild credit for playing a solid transition game and scouting our forecheck pretty well. They had a huge number of outnumbered attacks because of it.

Sucks to give up two goals directly as a result of blown calls, but it is what it is, I guess. Really lame loss, considering we carried the pace of the game and once again came out well on top in possession. At least we got a point, unlike the Dallas and Vancouver games. If we play this team in the first round I have little doubt we'll come out on top in a seven game series.

I'm not going to hammer Quick, but at least one save in the shootout would have been nice?

So tomorrow's game is at 3 (5 local time in Dallas). Not only is it the second half of a B2B, but this game also starts earlier than the previous game did. Why couldn't this be a 7pm game?

My god I could only get three pages into the thread before I got sick of all the crying and whining. "Refs suck!"...."Quick sucks!"....."Nolan sucks!".....

You'd think they hadn't gotten 5 out of 6 available points on this trip so far. You'd think some people here were thinking they weren't going to lose a game the rest of the season.

What a joke. Not reading anymore of this ********.

Wild fan here COMING IN PEACE! I have to agree with what Zach Parise said postgame, Kings are the best team we have faced yet this year. Start to finish Kings came to play in this one, in just a tremendous, exciting game down at the X tonight. What a tremendous series it would be if we faced you guys in the playoffs.

I'm amazed at the heart my team showed coming back tonight on the 2nd end of back to backs like they did. We are really coming together as a team and exciting times in the state of hockey! Good luck to your team down the stretch!

This.
Kings played a dominating game against team that is very good at home. Nolan shot us in the foot. Mistakes happen, and we still got a point out of it. I'd be upset if they had played a bad game, lacked effort or whatever, but they didn't. They played well and lost. It happens, this is the NHL.

Gotta give your team credit for weathering the forecheck and cycling and putting together some effective counterattacks. You guys capitalized on your opportunities, which made that penalty by Nolan critical. I agree that the pace and the game in general was really exciting, it would likely be a great series. Good luck down the road -- but not TOO much luck ;)

Champions can overcome poor officiating. If that was game 1 of the playoffs there's not too much doubt we would have won.

Either way, a point on the road, I'll take it.

The loss tonight wasn't Quick's fault. Still like Ellerby and hope he is re-signed. Big game against Dallas, hopefully we are ready and Bernier is set to duel Lehtonen.
