I hope the Kings are the "big bad Kings" and they win at least one of those first two games so that idiot has to stick his tail between his legs and start whining about the Kings. I watched most of the Dallas/Anaheim series and her pretty much all but called for a hit on Roussell and Garbutt. He said something to the effect of "now, that there is a total cheap shot and I hope Mr Garbutt has his day of reckoning real soon..."

The Ahlers/Hayward drinking game:

"Marginal Call" by Hayward = 1 Shot (2 Shots if he says that about the opposition - don't worry, there ain't a chance in hell this rule will apply)
"Ladies Tees" by Ahlers = 1 Shot
"Left handed larceny" or "Right handed robbery" by Ahlers = 1 Shot
"Sells this one..." by Hayward = 1 Shot
"Breadbasket" by Ahlers = Chug a beer (Preferrably IPA)

feel free to improvise

What sound do tears make?

dripdripdrip. Or "ah, well, they, I don't know what to say, wow, whoa, man," etc

Anything positive that happens now is gravy for us, it's extra. If we lose then oh well. Nobody thought we'd even be playing these games. If the Ducks lose, guys like Hayward won't handle it well. I would love to hear it, so him being on commentary is fine with me.

No info on who will call anything past Game 1, but for Game 1 of Ducks/Kings, it'll be Brian Hayward with John Forslund on NBCSN.

Barf,barf,Barf...

Nothing like NBC to send the D-Team to call the Kings-Ducks series.

Look at you Kiwirish, going wild with this posting frenzy this month. ;)

It's my first time on a computer in months, so I figured I'd come here and start posting on a new forum. Usually all my time is on ****** but eventually topics run dry haha. Plus since 2012 being a Kings fan has been a reason to downvote on /r/hockey.

Hey guys, i come in peace...just want to say that this is probably the greatest thing that could happen to both are teams that is not the cup, can't wait to make history with you guys

Just thought I'd resurrect the series thread.

#LAKings recall Andreoff, Bartosak, Forbort, Miller, Sabourin, Shore, Weal.

are Mitchell/Regehr out for the season or is it still hush-hush?
even if we do make it past the Ducks, i dont want to face CHI again in the WCF with our D corps as it is today. scary stuff :(

Called up basically the entire Monarchs team. At least the guys under contract, that were in Manchester all year, who have a future with the organization.

even with a healthy I don't like how the kings match up against the hawks
Forward: Chicago>LA
Defense: Chicago>LA
Goal: Chicago<LA

ill take LA's healthy D over Chicago's any day of the week and twice on Sunday, but they arent exactly healthy right now

Impressive.

"We spend a lot of time talking about Anze Kopitar's prowess on the defensive end, and about how much he's able to control possession, and about how much he elevates the rest of the Los Angeles Kings. Sometimes, there's barely enough room to talk about how freakishly talented he is.

Let's do that now.

Kopitar is in the midst of a twelve game point streak and is the only player in this year's playoffs to have scored in every one of his team's games."
