man oh man, was too busy being happy to realize what a bag of dicks Hanzal was being there. I mean, he came unglued all series, but in about 10 seconds, he slashed Richards' feet and crosschecked him in the back of the head, took a good run at voynov, slashed carter, and either speared or whacked Penner high before he scored. Commence tears, it's beautiful.

Edit: in fact if he wasn't so busy looking for blood he would have been in position and defended that whole sequence easily. It's so nice watching our team just flat out rattle the opposition when they're on.

Jon Rosen just tweeted that Tanner Pearson advised Sutter to put Jordan Weal in the shoot-out and Sutter "did what he was told."

That was quite a good write up. Why are we so concerned if schultz gets waived and claimed? Couldn't Lombardi just sign a ufa like Peckham, Fraser or Morris? Guys with NHL experience that would be cheap. Or even just trade for a short term fix.

It seems like anybody could fill that role, but when Mitchell and Regher ate **** in the playoffs and Schultz stepped in and got the job done after playing zero nhl games last year... You know that holds weight with Lombardi, as it should.

He did very well, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if he got claimed, there are other options other than relying on green rookies.
