LaDue has signed a contract with the Los Angeles Kings, giving up his final year of college eligibility, multiple sources have confirmed to the Herald. LaDue was a sixth-round draft pick of the Kings in 2012 and they have been pursuing him for two years.
If he's right handed and faster than a snail then he's already an upgrade over what the Kings have on the 3rd pair.

Just like all young Defenders, he will struggle with Men in front of the net and along the Boards.
Also making correct reads at PRO speed, and fast decisions with 200 LBS men flying at him full speed.
Probably two AHL seasons, and 20 pounds more muscle, he will be ready to take a shot on the Kings.
