According to The Mayor, LaDue will be leaving North Dakota to sign with the Kings, forgoing his senior year.

The Kings need all the defensemen they can get. He looks like a good prospect.

LaDue has signed a contract with the Los Angeles Kings, giving up his final year of college eligibility, multiple sources have confirmed to the Herald. LaDue was a sixth-round draft pick of the Kings in 2012 and they have been pursuing him for two years.

You are right about that. But when ready, Sutter lets them play. .

King/Nolan/Toffoli/Pearson/Muzzin/Shore/McNabb. All under Sutter's watch.

Decent Size and reach, needs muscle though. Good skater with good vision and puck skills. Will move puck quick up ice, Shoots Right (plus).

Needs work defensively, reads are not fast enough, and decisive enough. Struggles with speed and power type forwards. Puck possession is average along the boards.

I see him as an A-Mart type player with slightly more offensive ability.

I think his upside is Jeff Petry. Haven't seen a whole ton of him but he reminds me of him in limited viewing.

Also making correct reads at PRO speed, and fast decisions with 200 LBS men flying at him full speed.

Probably two AHL seasons, and 20 pounds more muscle, he will be ready to take a shot on the Kings.
