Kings/Sharks EPIX 24/7 (esque) Road to the Stadium Series Thread

I thought the scene with Joe Thornton's daughter when she was asking about his jock was hilarious.

I hope the show acknowledges our Hall of Famer Bob Miller and any of our other broadcasters.

Also, the no Mike Richards talk is starting to creep me out.

Is this worth watching?

Yeah, if your a Kings fan. It always interesting to see and hear what was being said on the ice during games. Especially when the games were only last week. The off ice stuff is always cool too. This episode had the White House visit and the boys going out for dinner in Tampa.

The highlights (or lowlights) were Gaborik critiquing Doughty's suit at the White House. And McNabb trying figure out how to eat his food at the dinner.

The lowlights come in the Florida game. Sutter essetinally telling Doughty to play more like McBain and Brown at the end saying "you sick of losing yet, boys?"

This was defiantly a better episode. It also ends on the high note of the Tampa game.

I knew it wouldn't be long until this was captured as a gif.

Watching Muzzin's Florida pass again is painful, but happy to see the episode end with the Lightning game.

Got a laugh out of that. A highlight was the Tampa dinner, even though it was short. It was good to see some rookie footage, with Nick Shore laughing at Andreoff taking on the challenge of eating 6 saltines in a minute and Martin Jones holding his phone as a timer.

It's honestly kinda boring. I didn't particularly enjoy the winter classic. I think the only reason the Kings one is entertaining is because it is the Kings. But I've turned both episodes off half way through and ended up having to rewatch the whole through again. I wish there were more on ice dialogue that were a bit more entertaining. Sutter is predictable. He sounds exactly like you would expect a few f-bombs here and there. Ho hum, pass the butter...

Follow EPIX on Twitter... last week they sent out a YouTube link at 7PM so you could watch on mobile devices.
