Very average for sure .Gabby used to have wheels , but has lost quite the step .Carter and Taffoli are pretty average .Brown ? Nope , Lewis ? Nope .I would say they are the slowest team in the league really .It really showed last year. https://youtu.be/fLprdRK1t3I

Lewis is a big guy who can skate. He is not big fast skater .He gets around well for a big man and he is very good defensively , but fast ? No I wouldn't put him in that catagory .
 
Lewis isn't a big guy. I'm not sure where you are getting your information from, but it's all over the place. The fact that you consider Carter an average skater says it all.
 
Cater is a very efficient skater and yes I will give you that average is a little unfair , but I wouldn't call him fast in NHL terms .Although I have seen lists where he is in people Los top 20 so ...
 
Speed is literally one of Lewis's main attributes. His size is almost exactly average by NHL standards.

Carter's skating has always been one of his strengths. One of the faster centers in the league.

This guy is just regurgitating what he's heard about LA. He clearly doesn't know much about the team.
 
You know what I am going to have to eat my words here .I just read that Bleacher report put Carter in the top ten for fastest skaters , claiming that he has" very deceiving speed " .It has to be some kind of deceiving because I didn't notice it .

I have to seriously apologize here .Not often I am off the mark on players talent wise , but in this case I am .I watched several L.A games the last two seasons and the team doped was certainly not good .That being said my eye test was off quite a bit on these two players it seems after reading up on them more .That being said the team speed was very poor .Apart from Doughty in the games I saw there was not much there for speed .I still maintain that this is a big problem for them, but not as much as I was making it out it seems .

Ya dude, just realize you kinda ruined your credibility here right off the bat. Nobody here will disagree with you about the Kings not being a fast team, but you picked two terrible examples in Lewis and especially Carter. Respect for admitting you were wrong, that doesn't often happen here.

MyNHLPearlsOfWisdom, glad you gave us something new to argue about. It's been slow this offseason and we'd even gotten bored of recycling old arguments.

Yeah. Compound tbe rough start by saying he's wrong because the Bleacher report corrected him just knocks the credibility down for me more.

It's one things to stick to your guns and say something very disagreeable (i.e. Carter is slow).

But to backpedal because an opinion outside of the Kings fanbase states something conflicting just shows a lack of original thought anyway.

Won't bother watching the video as a result. Good luck educating other fanbases with your "pearls of wisdom."

Ah, no ones perfect .I predicted the Preds to make the finals and the Jackets to make the playoffs last year , and have been accurate far more often then not , so you take your lumps and move on .lol .

Bleacher is really good publication that have extremely knowledgable writers .Im stating that if they see it another way then I am willing to sure take a double take .Wasnt the only source I went to though .There are others who seem to be fooled as I was with how deceptive his speed is .Going by the fact that I am talking to fans of the team and knowing the accuracy of Bleacher I'm going to reneg and side on the side of error on my part .

I didn't predict the Preds in the beginning of the year last year I have to admit but before the playoffs started .So far I have to go with Tampa in the east and the west is pretty wide open but I have to go with the Ducks for now .That could change by the beginning of the season .

Tomato grows on a vine like grapes do so it's a fruit . ( that really gets the
