Andre Lee also scored his first NCAA goal last night.

Braden Doyle had an assist, so he now has 2 in 3 USHL games.

All the Europeans who played yesterday (Dergachyov, Fagemo, Moverare, Nousiainen) were scoreless.

Shafigullin is still recovering from surgery.

Kaliyev had 2 assists in a 3-2 SO win.
Ingham had 35 saves in a 4-3 win.
Andre Lee had another goal today. Nice to pot one in each game over the weekend.
Cole Hults did not score in a 5-0 exhibition win

I hope not because he has a great center in Jan Jenik who is an awesome passer. Those cross ice passes are ideal for Kaliyev.

The team itself is dreadful yes.

Yeah when I was looking through the roster Jenik stood out. So it's nice that they at least have a good line and he will fight through getting focused on.

That being said, it's almost guaranteed he's traded to a contender, no? I'd love to see him in high pressure games instead of racking up points on a bottom feeder with no expectations.

I guess that's just a nuance and not really a big deal in the end.

Not necessarily a guarantee. Don't forget that Kaliyev is either in the NHL or OHL next season, too.

Hamilton may want him if they think they can contend next year. Or he may be too pricey for a contending team to trade 1.5 years for.

I'd say it's a high probability he gets moved, but junior eligibility can always change things.

Fagemo's 2nd goal of the night. He split the D and got tripped up on a partial breakaway, so this is his penalty shot.

This last draft is looking, at least at this point, like it has the potential to be one of the best drafts in franchise history. The kind that can change the course of a franchise for quite some time. Turcotte, Bjornfot, Kaliyev, and Fagemo? That's a lot of talent right there. Of course these are all a bunch of 18 year olds, so it is far to early to declare any of them the future of the franchise.
