Seems like a strange time for the Kings to liquidate. Especially since 7 of those 8 games were played on the road.

We're not trying to win the division nor the regular season. LA doesn't have a 1C, 1D or 1G. We have no chance to win 2 rounds and it will get worse. I agree with OP, better to cash out now while we have a ton of valuable complimentary players so we can gamble in the draft and get those players and a bunch more.

Of course in reality, we have to jettison the front office first.

Couldn't agree more, the PLD fiasco should have sealed Blake's fate. He needs to go, that was unforgivably bad, even if he snuck his way out of it with Kuemper. The whole league knew what PLD was, except for him I guess

I agree...my guess is someone above him made the call.

Fiala gonna be the first one out.
He has a big and long contract so there are not many fits right now.

Boston could use some talent upfront . It could be good for him to get a new start . They would have to send some contracts the other way to make it fit
