I don't know about in a row.

But Quick lost a record 21 games, with only allowing 1 goal or less in 2012.

It's why Quick, LITERALLY dragged the Kings to the play-offs that year.

I know, but he was also making the big save when needed that helped them win games . Both back ups have yet to do that to keep the Kings in close games, and have cost them at least 5-7 losses. They're mentality a different team when either one give up a bad goal like tonight.

We've seen the offense disappear before. They went 6 games with just 3 goals from Kopitar in the 13-14 season. Be a tougher fix this time though.

I think theres a time and place to blame goaltending but now isnt it. you dont lose 5-0 in two consecutive games solely because of bad goaltending, its usually because the team gave up in front of him or the team just sucks to begin with. sometimes this team can beat really good teams and other times they get torched by teams they should be beating. they need to figure it out and fast if they want to make the playoffs

Can we never play another game on national tv during the regular season?

They jinxed us and should take all the blame. Dang that network.

So, I know we're taking this loss pretty well...

But it looks like the Kings weren't the only ones to have a bad day.

Guy Boucher found a unique way to punish the Ottawa Senators after a lacklustre performance.

The Senators head coach made every Ottawa player sit in the locker-room and answer questions from the media — a rarity in the NHL — after a 6-0 loss to the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday night.

It was the first time in years every player was sitting in his stall as media walked into the dressing room for post-game availability.

Hard to tell in this trainwreck but I thought LaDue looked pretty good. Confident and smart with the puck. Looked a little hesitant without it, would go to a spot and stop instead of being fluid, didn't want to be aggressive on the puck in the zone (probably smart-ish in game one but from what I've seen in Ontario he would usually pounce on a challenged puck to at least make it hard for the other team instead of backing off into a defensive position). But especially considering the tire fire going down around him, I thought he looked like an NHLer, kept good positioning and skating and I really liked the play where he man-on-manned Drouin from deep in our zone all the way to the blueline and disarmed the puck off his stick and out of the zone.

I wasn't worried about LaDue at all.

Now Doughty, Muzzin and Martinez on the other hand... those three played like a steaming pile of dog turd. Embarrassing to see how poorly these veterans are performing.

Agree,

I think the Kings have gotten all they can out of Budaj, not sure he can give anymore.

Guy is playing his guts out.

I am still shocked Kopitar only has six goals. I would have beat money; that at some point Kopitar would have gone on a run of 4 goals in 6 games by now.

Or something equivalent of that.

Ugh. Second game in a row things are going good (except no finish), and the wheels fall off.

Feh. Get the next one.

Doughty was rifling high hard shots off the glass behind the goalie, Bishop didn't even have to duck.

The Kings didn't get beaten by shots that got through from the point, tipped shots, wraparound goals or bad deflections. In all 5 goals, there was no King between the goal-scorer and the goalie.

For some reason I think The Kings are missing Nolans presence . God , that was awful .

Did you forget your sarcasm smilie here? What reason could you possibly think of for a team's 12/13th forward to change the meltdown that was the last two games? Jordan Nolan must have some magic mojo.

Nic Dowd will score vs the Panthers, he's do. I believe it, no seriously i do. Oh god, please someone score!
