Call up Mccarron. Play Tinordi and Pateryn.

Sit out : Gilbert, Emelin

...that'll never happen under Therrien; if anything, he's shown that no matter how good our young Dmen play, he has faaaar more faith in Emelin & Gilbert, for some ungodly unknown reason...he can't even sit one of them for more than a game or two, he certainly won't sit both, even though he should, as they're our two worst Dmen and the young guys need the ice time...

Here
Put price in net and we'd still lose most of the games in which we score 2 or less goals.

Our top players aren't playing like top players. brutal game by patches so far. Eller has been really good and is among the lowest in icetime.

Matchups are way off. Rolling four lines is one thing but letting the road team dictate the matchups???

The stretch of Washington to Detroit with Price is vastly different. We get a 3w 1l, at worst. I see no way around it. All lost in the third. All while having the lead in the third. Carey shuts the door on those games.

And the team gets more confident with him in net too. I know for one that you play your game on your toes when you don't have confidence in your goalie. It's just the way it is.

Condon rocking a .875 tonight. On par with his last 10 games and still not capable of stopping the first goal.

Seriously, not even blaming him. He isn't a starting goalie. I'm just surprised management doent realize this or refuses to do anything about it.

We're a contender with our best player healthy.

What kind of contender are we if we fall apart with 2 players out of the lineup? In all of this mess, every team is below us with the exception of the Capitals. I have a hard time seeing this team as a contender. We lack a true number one center and scoring right winger with all due respect to Gallagher.

I'm not such a cynic, I trust our medical staff. As for help, I'm the one suggesting Chucky for Vlasic and for Emelin to gtfo. Salud my friend I love your urname flag!

We need a vet goalie and a winger. Defencemen are playing scared because of the lack of experience in net. Our goalies can stop pucks, but allow sooooo many wild rebounds that the d-guys play on their heels right now. It all comes down to the goalie. Price controlled the pace of the game, controlled the puck like a master. Don't blame the kid, blame the GM who underestimated the task ahead in this market.

Its too late now. They're not going to go out and trade for a goalie for about 2-3 weeks worth of games.

Starting goalies that fits in our 1.3 M cap space grow on trees :badidea:

Even with Price, it's probably 1-0.

Problem is: if this continue and the GM does f-all to help this squad, players will lose confidence (I think they are at the brink of just crumbling) and the system will go down the drain. When Price got injured THE FIRST TIME, that was when he had to move. GM knew that Semin was a waste already. Should have pulled the trigger early.

Yea the system was fine after Price was injured the first time but near the end just before he returned, the system didn't matter, was a mess.

Price will be back, and Kassian too hopefully with a new life. Kassian is a legit top 6 IF he stops partying, this time might be the good one for him to turn the page after all the ******** he's been throught.

98.5% to make the PO, so 1.5% chance of being part of the lottery :naughty:

If we go 17-30-3 we have 1% chance of finishing last in the east.

Stop it Man.
We may need to beat FN Boston out fn doors to catch them in the standings.
Thank god they are rebuilding...

Who cares about Boston or any other team in our division. None of them are a threat besides Tampa would is also bad this year.

I agree Bergevin should have traded for a goalie as soon as Price got his 1st injury. However how could have he known ? And exactly, Condon and Tokarski don't control either rebounds or the puck like Carey does.
