All Subban and Pacioretty have done in the last few weeks is show the world that Price is this team's franchise player, corner stone.

I thought the Price injury would permit the world to see that Patch and PK are just as essential, but they have been such a disappointment.

Yep... none of our "leaders" are doing anything.

Patches is really a one dimensional player
Markov... nope
Pleky... great PK player...not much else.

Gallagher should wear the "C"

it's simple.... opponents getting better goaltending than we are.

Condon has been okay.... Quick better
last game
Toker good ... Sharks goalie better.

Would also help if we can hit the net on point shots or get it past the first man.

To be honest, the Habs dont generate very many scoring chances. The opposing team's goalies just need to be competent. Its not like they play out of their minds.

The Habs have been playing fairly good for most games of late. Problem is the PP is completely dead and their best players can't score for ****. Effort is one thing but hard to win when you can't score goals.

Havent't been watching because hockey has been a bore to me lately but why has Byron been playing more than Galchenyuk?

I think Patches is purposely sabotaging this team.

There is no way he is this bad.

He is playing with Byron. God really is it that hard to understand how easy it must be for the other teams defense to stop 4 guys instead of 5? They can basically just ignore Byron.

Anyone who played amateur hockey knows that. If you are good and are playing with a skill less grinder the grinder will be left alone and the other team will double check you and unless you are Crosby you can forget it.

The way this team is losing games makes no sense to me. Rarely if ever seen anything like it

I can't belive people are blamming condon...this team up front is terrible. This team is 95% 3rd and 4th liners all playing way to high on the depth chart, even with gally and price.

Yes, everyone is pretty much snakebitten for now. That's unsustainable.
Team will bounce out of it.

I predicted 3 wins in December. More like we're lucky to have 1 win in December.

I predicted 4-6-2 in my thread predicting the Habs final 12 games in December and they've only won once since then. I won't be surprised if the Habs don't win again this month with that ugly road schedule coming up to end Dec into Jan.

This. We are creaming them and deserve a much different result.

I don't care what anybody says, with a goalie tandem of Condon-Tokarski on the reg in the NHL of today, there's no way we can win more than a couple of games. None.

Put price in net and we'd still lose most of the games in which we score 2 or less goals.

Our top players aren't playing like top players. brutal game by patches so far. Eller has been really good and is among the lowest in icetime.

Matchups are way off. Rolling four lines is one thing but letting the road team dictate the matchups???

They can't continue to place 3rd liners with Pleks and Pacioretty. It never worked anywhere. I know they are looking for a 'puck digger' like Gally was, but you need TALENT there. Byron is a borderline NHLer. Playing on the first line, man.
