streak, with a ridiculously low GAA and playing the trap
against a small soft team with some bigger gents who also
play like midgets.

MSL cant coach, what's new?

I'm not sure there's coaching involved, it's more "player dev" that interests them at this point.
BUT
The worst of the playing style is the man to man in the Dzone. Absolute killer. Crazy gap by the D also when they back up with the other teams F's coming towards them, they are taught to give up the blue line... ok, ... but they never stop going backwards at any point. Drives me crazy. It was worst at the start of the year, but it's still there. Sigh.

Apart from the first Kings goal which was a real beauty, there's nowt much for LA fans to get excited about.

But then suffocating, mistake-free hockey is solid percentage stuff.
