They play their trap defense and they have some young scorers…Kopitar is ageless…there’s nothing I hate more than watching the Kings boring play, except maybe watching the Pens under Sullivan lol…think I’ll be skipping this one18-9-3 LAK vs PIT 13-14-5
Man, how the hell are the Kings doing so well?
They have one guy in their top 5 scorers. They play their trap defense and they have some young scorers…Kopitar is ageless…there’s nothing I hate more than watching the Kings boring play, except maybe watching the Pens under Sullivan lol…think I’ll be skipping this one
Byfield, Turcotte, Clarke…They have one guy in their top 5 scorers.
Alex Laferriere
The rest are Meh or older, like 28. Unless you are counting Clark and his whopping 3 goals, Bifields 4.
lol….probably because Jarry’s record against the Kings stinks…edit: nope, Ned’s is worse lol…I guess we just know we won’t match the Kings physicality per usual and are chalking this game up in the loss column…
They have been in the league for like a decade. YoungByfield, Turcotte, Clarke…
Kempe and Fiala are 28…that’s young compared to the Pens lol…they surrounded Kopitar with better offensive players and younger players than the Pens have …
Well they’re young compared to Rakell and Rust lol…They have been in the league for like a decade. Young
The Kings are still younger than the Pens…by quite a lot lolSo, having a lower talent, old roster COULD be successful if running a strategy (trap, ugh) and trading for complimentary pieces rather than random fodder?
Damn. Crazy.
I'm just trying to complain about how we've built our team, while other, crappier franchises are doing it betterThe Kings are still younger than the Pens…by quite a lot lol
Meh they're in no man's land, wouldn't want to copy what they're doing. They half cooked their rebuild and will have to rebuild the rebuild when Kopitar and Doughty retire.Byfield, Turcotte, Clarke…

When you say young, I'm expecting younger players in their mid to early 20's not creeping up on old age status. Crosby and Malkin set up their legacies about that time, did you consider them young at 28/29?Well they’re young compared to Rakell and Rust lol…

*our team slowly raises a mirror*Meh they're in no man's land, wouldn't want to copy what they're doing. They half cooked their rebuild and will have to rebuild the rebuild when Kopitar and Doughty retire.
Coaching bump. Structure. Best team defense in the league.18-9-3 LAK vs PIT 13-14-5
Man, how the hell are the Kings doing so well?
Pens haven't even started rebuilding. Kings started rebuilding in 2019, did a half assed job and now are at best a 1st round exit.*our team slowly raises a mirror*
LA has missed and lost in the first round far more since their last cup. I wouldn't call them doing it better.I'm just trying to complain about how we've built our team, while other, crappier franchises are doing it better
We refuse to hurt feelings of players or coaches, except the feelings of the fans
And yet, whatever Blake is doing, is still miles better than keeping Sullivan til the end of time and whatever the hell Dubas is thinking lol…Pens haven't even started rebuilding. Kings started rebuilding in 2019, did a half assed job and now are at best a 1st round exit.
Some really short sighted moves by Blake. Got Fiala but gave up Faber+a 1st rounder in the process. How brutal. Classic case of trying to short cut the rebuild and instead the team has zero chance to become truly elite.
Pens are just in purgatory until this core retires so they can actually rebuild. These guys are just on a legacy retirement tour. They probably don't want a new coach at this point so Sullivan stays too.And yet, whatever Blake is doing, is still miles better than keeping Sullivan til the end of time and whatever the hell Dubas is thinking lol…
Oh good because WE are the ONLY franchise allowed to do good.LA has missed and lost in the first round far more since their last cup. I wouldn't call them doing it better.
