I am fine with that. This is a good move and in line with what Blake said. He is looking for cheap help and stopgaps unless a young signed player were offered that matches with the rebuild which doesn't happen often. Honestly, right now isn't the best time to get value out of our prospects either as just about everyone is down on their value and it would be better to hold onto them and continue development. There's always a Chychrun around the corner starting a bid war and hype. Honestly, the biggest upgrade the Kings could get right now is to get Byfield, Turcotte, and Co. up and running.

lol right? We also thought other funny things, like Quinton Byfield might get power play time and Philip Danault was brought here to make sure Kopitar wasn't playing 24 minutes including PK!

Or that Byfield is actually ready to play in the NHL.
