Was just watching some Kuzmenko highlights on you tube. He has good hands. Shoots good and can pass. He has some good moves. Some of you say he slow but he sure had a bunch of breakaway goals.

Very interesting tie-in with Gavy, too...especially with his rumored long-term deal. Maybe a tryout for Kuzmenko for a little bit of term. Whenhe's on he's on, but it's hard to tell which dude we'll get. Has to know he's on his last NHL legs, I imagine.

Dont mind move at all, Kings aren't close to top teams and we didn't trade any 1sts or 2nds. I hope Blake calls it a day and team looks at Mathieu Darche out of Tampa as Gm, I just want to see a philosophy brought in from development on up to style

Sorry I'm late.

Learned that Jury Summons I got is for a 2 month long double murder case. YAY.

Anyways, Kuzmenko is a fun add for basically nothing. Love me some skilled Russians.
Statler: Did you hear I got a jury summons for a double murder case?
Waldorf: No, I didn’t! Who’s the defendant?
Statler: Rob Blake!
Waldorf: Is that so?
Statler: Yep! Because he murdered Kings fans’ hopes AND their dreams!

Ohhohohohoho

i'm just wondering how you go from "we were right there" and setting team points pace records to a DOA power play, "this isn't a team that's going to score a lot" with fumbling goalies, losing 5 into the TDL and your resolution is.. a 3rd rounder for a reclamation project/prayer

obviously the word is going to be "we believe in this group" but this is like, quitting..

nothing against the player and i'm not really complaining that they didn't do anything but jesus man this should've been 2 years ago

Thats why the press conference was one of the better ones. Blake wasnt saying were right there were family dont believe your eyes this is a cup contender. He just thinks they have to win a round.
He was to the point and honest about the good and bad. Seemed like maybe he was in on Rantanen or someone similar that didnt want to come here.

The draft is at LA this year. Thank god we didn’t trade that pick away. 1st round pick. Thank you Rob.
Not sure where the Kings will be drafting in the First round but being a Die Hard fan for more decades than I wish to convey...I remember the terrible 70's where we had success but traded virtually every 1st R except 1979...Those were the dark days...and most of the 80's weren't much better except for 1980 when the Kings had their best draft in History...though the Kings plucked Alltime NHL Goal scoringLWinger Robitaille outta the 9th R cause he had skating issues...that seems like a 100 years ago...the 90's mostly meh and once the new millinium hit well 2003 was OK,2005 was great Kopi-Quicker,2008 Doughty,2014 Kempe,2020 Byfield could still hit Stardom...Greentree has promise...2025? A centre the prognasticators are saying...maybe Russian Ivan Ryabkin...that would be great if he slides that far

He’s an incredible power play specialist. You will be amazed by his ability to redirect, tap in passes and provide flair in tight.

Not so great 5v5 though

Honestly, we could use a power play specialist. We could use any help on the power play. Big-brained acquisition by Blake then.

Great so Philly getting a future hall of famer with that 3rd pick. Blake at it again. Turcotte sitting for sure now. And free Akil.

A look at all the Russians who have played for the Kings since 2008:

Alexander Frolov
Andrei Loktionov
Slava Voynov
Ilya Kovalchuk
Nikita Scherbak
Nikolai Prokhorkin
Vladimir Tkachev
Vladislav Gavrikov

Not very many.

Man… what a list.

I’ll be the first to admit how much I loved Frolov’s game, even though he drew quite a bit of ire from the fanbase for being “Mr. Wraparounds”, as he was an incredibly effective player in all situations. Scoring 35 goals on a terrible kings team was a feat.

Slava was a stud, but also apparently a biblical piece of shit.

Gavrikov has been great, and it’s gonna sadden me to see his legacy sullen by a bloated extension.

The rest of that list? Absolute dog meat, and I don’t particularly think Kuzmenko is gonna end up any different, although I’d love to be wrong.

I think Frolov's career +/- really stands out considering how many BAD teams he was on; while consistently having 60 point seasons.

Not to mention I truly believe in 2010 if he scored on the breakaway and Ryan Smyth scored on the wide open net we beat the Canucks that year.
