Totally agree, Coghlan's game may suffer the more he played but we now know what Stanley brings and i wouldn't mind Coghlan getting a game or 2 and parking Stanley for a game or 2. If Schenn is playing we don't need both Schenn and Stanley in the lineup at the same time that's for sure.

They should be getting Ville in as well for a game or two.

I hope it doesn't come to it, but a few injuries and we will be forced to put a player into the lineup that hasn't played months.

The last 2 times they lost to LA they had Pionk and Villardi.
My comment is not about the loss it is about consistently losing to certain teams that play a certain style but gloss over that to call me out.
I cannot help it if my analysis is next level and only a select few on here are able to match my knowledge and analyze this exactly as you said ' as not being a fan aka a fanatic. I am a realist. I want them to win the cup as much as anyone but their are serious flaws in their game that Vegas and the Kings expose.

You’re an idiot

I don't want to bash our players, but damn Stanley, cmon man. He needs to step up, otherwise he's gonna be a big liability in the postseason.
If he has a gaffe like he did last night in the playoffs, I hope Jets coaches finally recognize he just can't be in a playoff lineup. Especially if the games and series is close. He is just too big of a risk to do something very costly.

Everyone makes gaffes, even Morrissey has messed up at times. And, a lot of times, players like Morrissey can react quickly enough to cover up a mistake. Unfortunately, Stanley can't, IMO. I hope that all of the Jets D-men will be healthy (enough) come playoff time. If that's the case, Stanley should be assigned to the PB.🤞

It was a bad turnover game , end of story . People panic over nothing . Healthy line up would mean no Gus and hopefully no Stanley .

When you play teams like LA you just have to limit your mistakes , we did not do that .

Cmon. It’s obvious by now that he incapable of stepping up. He will forever be a game-costing liability. The best one can hope for every time he touches the puck is that he doesn’t do something stupid and incompetent. Nothing more. All downside. No upside.

hoping schenn is ready to go vs vegas so I don't have to see miller in the top 4 and maybe fleury gets another shot on the 3rd pair instead of stanley after that terrible give away
The Jets only got to play Morrissey-De Melo, Samberg-Pionk, Fleury-Schenn for one game after the trade deadline. That's probably the Jets best chance in the playoffs. Optimistically maybe get Pionk back by the St. Louis game, ahead of Dallas?
When Pionk and Schenn are healthy, Stanley will be out of the line up again (hopefully). That's provided Fleury doesn't shit the bed again

Get off of your high horse. You've been wrong a lot more than you've been right.
The team that you are really pulling for is going to have a hard time getting out of the Atlantic.
The team I am pulling for is going to have a hard time getting past the first round in the West. I am not on any horse just realistic. They are 1 round and don if they do not start playing playoff hockey. The Kings did and that game was over at 3-1 wit h a period to play.
The Leafs will win the cup. It really pains me to say it but that is my opinion.

He cpuld fit really well with Schenn. I think that is a next year thing at this point though. I think we will need to ride or die with Miller, Stan and Fleury as 6/7/8 this year.

I noticed in the last PGT there were quite a few people praising Arniels line combos in the face of injury. Now we have one L and its back to "hes delusional". I think theres enough merit in what he's managed to get out of this team that we should give him more rope. But I understand the criticism while the wound is still fresh.

Pionk coming back will hopefully smooth over our D issues.

Thank you for your self proclaimed brilliance.
You are welcome. I am not saying I am brilliant but I see things differently than many posters. I take emotion out of my analysis. I used to base it on that but as I get older and the players get younger I put it in perspective. I do not live and die by each win as I have said before this season has been tough because I know they are good but are they playoff good? I do not think they are playoff good.
I was told by posters to relax and enjoy the ride. I am trying but games like last nights make me wish the playoffs started today so I can be proven wrong.

Agreed. Also Colorado doesn't scare me as much this year. I think we'd be much better prepared if we had to face them.
They got rid of Georgiev, Middlestadt and Rantanen and picked up Blackwood, Nelson, Necas, Coyle, and Drury.

Big loss was Mikko obviously but they look much, much more dangerous than they did last year.

Not in terms of play on ice in the games I've watched.

Necas's play has fallen off after a hot start and isn't even on the top line any longer. They went from a 100 plus point guy with size and power to a ppg finesse player. Rantanen is a massive loss.

Their second line is out of sorts and Coyle and Drury are rather nothing players at this point.
