Kiefer Sherwood--so far, the UFA signing of the year in NHL. Preds must be kicking themselves.
Whoa… slow down here…If we were paying him $5 million it would be solid value.

I think he needs to chill out with the hitting, this can't be sustainable. His shoulder is going to pop at the current rate. He's on pace for 46 ESP while leading the NHL in hits and being a very good two-way forward. You'd pay $5 million all day long for a full season of that.
Can anyones body hold up for a full season throwing as many hits as he does? A little worried about him breaking down
Sherwood is averaging 2 hits a game more than clutterbucks peak. Hopefully he can sustain itClutterbuck?

I wonder what his baseline is. We know/assume he can't continue that hitting pace, but can he still maintain that 45ish point pace while still being a disturber?
Last year we had a bunch of guys who really prospered under Tocc's system at the beginning that eventually plateaued (i.e.. Lafferty, PDG). Hope Sherwood is not going to follow this pattern.
I mean, who looks like they deserve Debrusk’s contract: him or Debrusk. Watching them on the same line with Petey and it’s a staggering difference. If we were paying him $5 million it would be solid value.
Hopefully he can save a couple dozen for the rematch against the Kings.....Sherwood is averaging 2 hits a game more than clutterbucks peak. Hopefully he can sustain it
Looking at his splits from last season he had 5 goals and 10 points in the first 20 games which is identical to this season with 2 less games played. The next 20 games however he only had 1 assist. He went all of December and January with just 1 assist. So I guess we’ll see.
Has a bullet of a shot too.His puck skills are surprisingly good, man can dangle.

What a bizarre split. He then finished the year with 16 points in his last 28 games as well, so he had two chunks of 40 point level play along with that huge slump. I wonder if something was going on. He actually did miss a chunk of time toward the end of the slump
