Some have great histoey like the moscow region teams... but how can people make an argument for Severstal or Sibir where the logo is just words - painfully boring.
I strongly disagree about Sibir's logo. I like their logo/jersey so much that I can't even look at what they had before... The 50s style Cyrillic Sibir reminds me of 50s when Russia was still classy and Russian cars were still beautiful, like those 50s Volgas... Sibir logo reminds me of that and even it's a fake history, I guess I like classic stylish things. I love their jersey because it's so damn simple, it only says Sibir in Cyrillic and that's all. Sorry to say but I don't like Dinamo Riga's one that much because there's so many things in it, the letter D, the Riga lions, Latvia's three stars etc...

Of course I like Slovan because it's history and such a recognizable logo in hockey world, it's beautiful. I like Amur because it's their coat of arms. I like CSKA and SKA again because they're simple and stylish.

I guess I'm the guy that doesn't really like many things combined together on the logo (if it's not historical like Amur's) or classic, simple and stylish things. I don't like modern designer logos much...

On a side note, I went through Slovan's page on wikipedia:
Founded in 1921, they are the oldest KHL team by a large margin, as there were no ice hockey leagues in the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics prior to 1946
I can only laugh about that :D But it's wikipedia...

^ Number six is awesome indeed, but we know that somehow they will get variant #2. Funny to see in some of the logos Magnitogorsk written in Latin and in some in Cyrillic.

Americanization at any price. It seems like Magnitogorsk has arrived in the 1990s, what a progress.

They have indeed. #3, #4 and #5 are sooo similar to that joke of a Sabres logo they used back then.

#6 is a win but it would look so much better on light uniforms instead of dark blue ones they use nowadays.

What does it have to do with Amur or Sibir? Last time I checked Magnitogorsk had their own jerseys.

Which in my opinion are ****ing boring now,the number 6 jersey, which was posted in last page however is not.

You haven't even seen the jersey. Put #6 logo on Novosibirsk's jersey and then it would be magnificent?

P.S I love Sibir's jersey. It has some class.

Obviously we don't have the same opinion on that matter. I guess you would be fine with some oh so exciting name changes [=Americanizations] too: Magnitogorsk Steelers instead of Metallurg Magnitogorsk, Baltic Warriors instead of Dinamo Riga... ;)
