Some have great histoey like the moscow region teams... but how can people make an argument for Severstal or Sibir where the logo is just words - painfully boring.
I strongly disagree about Sibir's logo. I like their logo/jersey so much that I can't even look at what they had before... The 50s style Cyrillic Sibir reminds me of 50s when Russia was still classy and Russian cars were still beautiful, like those 50s Volgas... Sibir logo reminds me of that and even it's a fake history, I guess I like classic stylish things. I love their jersey because it's so damn simple, it only says Sibir in Cyrillic and that's all. Sorry to say but I don't like Dinamo Riga's one that much because there's so many things in it, the letter D, the Riga lions, Latvia's three stars etc...
Of course I like Slovan because it's history and such a recognizable logo in hockey world, it's beautiful. I like Amur because it's their coat of arms. I like CSKA and SKA again because they're simple and stylish.
I guess I'm the guy that doesn't really like many things combined together on the logo (if it's not historical like Amur's) or classic, simple and stylish things. I don't like modern designer logos much...
On a side note, I went through Slovan's page on wikipedia:
Founded in 1921, they are the oldest KHL team by a large margin, as there were no ice hockey leagues in the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics prior to 1946
I can only laugh about that
But it's wikipedia...
