This is very confusing. You must be combining 1.0 and 2.0, but even then that makes it seem like 2.0 hasn't lost in Montreal. UNLESS you are including Atlanta's record - are you?

Yes, I was looking over it and you are correct. the 10-22-2 record is the Thrashers/Jets historical record in Montreal.

It's all relative. Soccer fans would say we score too often, basketball fans not often enough. We won't even talk about cricket.
Hockey is just about perfect in the rate of scoring, in my view. Cheapening goals could make the game less interesting, not more interesting.

I wasn't short and fat but i was STUPID enough to get in the net . Hey we want to fire rock hard rubber at your head and bruise you all over , are you in ? ok ya , that sounds like fun . :badidea:

Going back in net after the first time doesn't make you stupid, it makes you bat shit crazy. Hellebuyck's crazy eyes? Present in all goaltenders, just not always visible externally.

Goals are fun, until there are too many of them. I think the amount of scoring in the NHL is just about right. Each goal is highly consequential and there are generally enough goals so a fluke here or there doesn't sink a team that often.

I’m loving this conversation. I didn’t think one little comment would start such a great discussion but I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks the game can be tweaked a bit.
I don’t necessarily think that we need more goals. My main concern is how unorganized the play can be sometimes. Bouncing pucks all over the place because opposition players are all over you in a split second. I think the game has lost some flow.
Players are bigger and faster now and by nature that makes the ice feel even smaller and the game can get a little choppy. I don’t want to see a bunch of guys always digging for pucks or have pucks bouncing around randomly. I’d like to see the skilled speedy players shine even more with just a bit more room to skate and pass.
The fact that it would likely benefit this current Jets team is purely coincidental. :)

Didn't watch but noticed the EWR line got 2 EN goals - any reason why they were out there both times? Not complaining at all but it often seems like Maurice usually goes with Scheif/KC or maybe the Lowry line.
