Adams has stated (last press conference) that the reason for the extra cap space is to sign the next batch of young guys (Quinn, Peterka, Levi, etc,). When someone stated that shouldn't cost that much he said "tell that to their agents."

No Kev, you tell that to their agents. None of these players -- none -- have any leverage, you f***ing wuss. God this guy is spineless. .
Absolutely, how the hell can Peterka and Quinn (their agents) ask for anything worthwhile, you can always trade them if they're just asking for some huge salary. This is just ridiculous. Doesn't he consider potential trades, postseason UFAs, cap growth? These Adams excuses don't work.

Just when I thought I couldn't get more disappointed...

Sources indicate #Sabres players met with owner Terry Pegula and GM Kevyn Adams today in Montreal.Summary of message: “We believe in you. The solution is within this room.”Pegula professed faith in Adams, Ruff, and apparently told players to not expect a big trade.

Well..nothing left now. Rooting for losses every single f***ing night. Rooting for a completely empty arena. Rooting, frankly, for some things I can’t post without it being deleted.

This was the declaration of war on the fans. Nothing left to root for other than the organizations complete and total downfall.

Im firmly in the rooting-against the Sabres mode.

There is nothing redeeming or anything to like about this organization. They don't deserve success. I would take pride in being a fan of any other team over the Sabres.

I like the history of the Sabres, but that has been buried by Pegula for the most part, and most of the alumni cant stand this ownership.

Not sure why everyone is so up in arms. This just cements that Adams will be fired at the end of the year, with a possibility of being sooner. There's nothing more certain about ownership's lack of support, than hearing Pegula having complete faith in them.
