A long day of watching video.
Exactly, how many times did Granato say that and nothing changed.

In my opinion this team has the talent to make the playoffs so what the F*** are they doing on the ice?

If Cozens and Quinn get their head out of their asses this team makes the playoffs.

KA never should have walked Ullmark to leave as a RFA. By now, he would be gone anyway for UPL, but that's 3-4 years of crap goaltending KA brought upon the team with no possible starter level guy in the organization. I won't blame him for the Eichel trade because Eichel wanted out due to what had been going on before KA was given the job. I will blame him for walking Reinhart into leaving as a UFA. He didn't commit to a smart net-front FW, and so Reinhart didn't commit to the team. He could still fit under the cap today, and should be here. Then the Mitts trade. Mitts isn't "the answer" but he sure as hell fit the needs of the roster a HELL of a lot more than Byram does. KA, despite the most recent history of Cozens play (for the previous 10 months actually), decided that "his guy" was worth a big contract and worth penning him in as a 2C. KA also decided depth and flexibility at C/FW wasn't necessary.

He should have kept Mitts, made a UFA signing or futures trade for a legit defensive vet RHD. He should have traded Krebs+ or Savoie for McLeod, made the other moves for the 4th line guys, and have a C spine of TT/Mitts/Cozens or McLeod/McLeod or Krebs. I'm not sure how a Skinner buy-out would still fit under the above circumstances, but either way they need more vets and less younger, weaker, inexperienced guys that don't know how to play defense. This massively forced plan to keep ELCs or under-25 guys on the roster above and beyond their physical/mental ability tanks their playoff chances and hinders their development. It's great to build through the draft, but you have to ease young players in with roles that make sense...not force Cozens, Quinn, Benson, Peterka, and Power into spots they aren't quite ready for, all at the same time.

I still wonder how the conversation to hire Adams even went down. No qualifications. No contacts worth a shit. No reputation. And he’s handed a job that comes without resources, a full hockey department or anyone with a clue how to run a hockey department.

If someone offered you a job you were woefully unqualified for…I mean…have an ounce of self respect or love for the game and refuse it.

He’s that bad.
