Sounds like another former King, although not a winger but a centerman, Pierre-Luc-Dubois!!!!!

Maybe the Hollywood lifestyle changes people. :sarcasm::sarcasm:
Funny enough he played all 82 games as a King last year. Can't scratch your shiny new big signing.

For context, he was benched for the last 25 minutes of their win over Utah for multiple unnecessary selfish offensive zone penalties.

The guy is strictly in business for himself.

That's why LA I think was almost about to get over the Edmonton hump. They were right there, and they started adding guy after guy who could score but absolutely not buy into their system, which is what makes them so succesful.

He should be one of the 5 best wingers on the planet but he’s never been a particularly serious player. Easily in the 95% percentile or better as far as pure athletes go in the NHL

No he shouldn't be. He's not that good, come on.

This will come as a great surprise but Rob Blake gave him an 8x8

Our front office is giving Milbury a run for his money
It’s really bizarre how people think Bergevin would be a worse option than Blake at this point. Blake could never dream of winning a single series even by accident, let alone seven of them like the Habs did.

Yeah he only learns the language everywhere he lives (I think he speaks 5 now) and during his shl-time he put in as much extra practice as he could. Besides learning fluent swedish in a short time he prepared for nhl by having english lesson on his way to practice.
Fiala always set extremely hard to reach goals for himself, he's nothing but a serious player.

Can he improve his game? Yes, but if he isn't among the hardest workers on Kings there's something going on. He' also kind of different as a person so if it's a frat-boy team I could see there being issues.

There was a Swedish poster on this site in some thread a while ago who said when Fiala played in Sweden (HV71) the team management group had to take him aside and instruct him to greet/answer arena personnel as he apparently just ignored them when they greeted him. If that's true then it's pretty damning and probably indicative of some underlying psychological/mental issues.

I get he was young when he played in Sweden, but you just don't act like that.
