Laughton
2015-16: Read (351), Umberger (223), White (126), Cousins (123)
2017-18: Raffl (355), Leier (305), Lehtera (237), Weal (192), Read (102)
Frost
2019-20: Giroux (104), TK (95), Pitlick (53), JVR (51)
Ya, so these are 2 very different scenarios as I thought. Not to mention, they are just 2 different players. Frost needs to play with skilled guys to maximize his potential. I’m not a Laughton fan boy at all, but he can be more effective playing up and down the lineup.

2015-16 wasn't his rookie year.

His rookie year was 14-15: Simmonds (248), Schenn (155), Raffl (84)

Regardless of Yandle's ES limitations, gotta say I'm still really looking forward to see what he can do for this powerplay here. Watched a lot of Florida's PP unit work last year and the guy s still a very high end distributor on the man-up. Best option we'll have had up high since the early days of Ghost.

Big game for Yandle coming up against his last team.

So far he's only playing 14:09 at ES and 2:11 on the PP, knocking Provy down to PP2.

That's exactly how he should be used, last year in FLA, 12:46 at ES, 4:26 on the PK.
His usage was probably up a little with Risto out.
Same with Braun, 15:47 ES, 2:00 PK.

Hey guys, just wondering how Yandle has been so far?
Noticed he started off white hot with all his 5pts in first 3 games but now pointless for next 7 games.

Puck luck or not being used as much on PP?

Been pretty good for role. Solid #5 at this point in career.

He was taken off PP1 for no real reason and that is partially why no points. Should be there over Provy.

51.83 CF, 50.97 xGF, and that's being paired with Seeler (7th D-man playing the wrong side).
Can't ask much more from a 3rd pair D-man.
AV is carefully rationing his on-ice time.

Appreciate it, thank you.
Unfortunately you guys may be forced to keep him in lineup until he passes the Ironman streak.

Without PP time, he is kinda useless but I'd be shocked if he didn't put up around 30ish pts if he plays 75+ games.

Kick the shit out of the Leafs tomorrow.

worn out old dog..

should be retired.. but in Philly, ur NEVER to old to get a old boy sweet deal..

sigh...

oh theres no question he signed with the intention of making his ironman record, no matter how worn down he gets, AV will play him every game

the results on the team be damned

Will Yandle + Risto score more than Hagg + Ghost?

Currently it's 6 (5 + 1) to 13 (4 + 9).

I expect Ghost to outscore Yandle and Risto on his own without the help of Hagg's 10-15 points. He's getting huge minutes for Arizona and our defense looks like it's going to be a non-factor in our offense this season thanks to AV's scheme.
