I am thinking that back in the day Lou got rid of coaches for less and at a higher place in the standings when he did so. The Rangers scenario is sort of wild in that it possible that both the coach AND general manager seem like they have lost the team.

I'm interested if he becomes available as a pens fan.

I know Kakko is unhappy but unhappy enough to sit in the stands and root for the Penguins seems like it wouldn't solve things. Okay that was funnier in my head but it is an interesting question as to whether they would want to trade him inside the division and if a division for would think the assets they give up worth that.

When leadership is scummy and not accountable it filters down to the locker room and coaches. Drury is not the right person for that job and he needs to go. He’s created such a toxic culture with his shenanigans this past year.

It’s kind of satisfying to watch after listening to Sabres fans deify him for so long. He didn’t give a shit about Buffalo and he doesn’t give a shit about his players. He’s a cold dude.

I see his point but really, his numbers aren't exactly stellar this season. Might be a case of the right message (dunno, haven't watched enough of the Rangers this season) but the wrong messenger. he's in tonight and no points and a -1 after 2 periods. Might have been a good time to have a big game.
