2nd+smaller piece is something I think is a reasonable ask. That could be a 4th or equivalent level prospect. Not expecting much more than that.

Hey, the Jets are still being blamed for Laine's lack of success in the NHL 4 years after he whined his way off the team. You get used to it.
Just wait until Kakko name drops a specific veteran on the team as an inferior player he shouldn't have to lower himself to play with, and still have hordes of his fans come in to defend the innocent little angel as the oppressed party in the situation.

It wasn't just Laine who left. It was also Bufyglien. And later, Paul Maurice. Blake Wheeler was stripped of his captaincy, and bought out.
So let's not pretend that Laine just "whined his way off Winnipeg". He was basically bullied out, and he was not the only one. And they made some changes after that.

I'd be willing to include Lundestrom as we would start to get crowded with the lefties. But not sure if a bottom 6 center with speed is at all what Rangers need. He has limited offense but does some good moves here and there. Decent PKer, but not good enough on faceoffs. Still has 3rd line potential in a better system

He whined his way off the team long before he was "bullied" off it. He was a cancer in the locker room back in Finland, he was a cancer in the locker room in Winnipeg, he was a cancer in the locker room in Columbus. Laine was always the consistent issue.
He can keep rotting around the league as a one trick pony on the PP. Until he gets injured again.

I don't know where this idea came from that Russo is some laughable figure. He's the best source for Wild news and when he reports on what the Wild are interested in, it's the truth most of the time.

My guess would be that Russo's information is more up to date. I imagine the Wild inquired about Kakko because Guerin inquires about everyone, but if Russo says they're not in on him, I believe that. Probably didn't have what the Rangers wanted or they wanted more than Guerin wanted to pay.

He's far and away the best team insider across the NHL. He's on point when it comes to the Wild. I'm loving that there's Emily out here being like 'there's some smoke in Minny' and Russo, who knows better than anyone is just like 'No', no preamble, no 'well looks', it's just like, 'yeah wrong'.

There should be 31 teams interested in Kakko. That doesn't mean he's going to bring in some amazing value, but teams love former high draft picks who have failed in their first team.

- By stupid fans, with no knowledge whatsoever! If a player play minimal PP/PK, thoose stats are very valuable! Your team score more than the opponent and you are a valuable piece for the team. Use your brain. It helps.Never seen a mod this biased. Get some help. You actually might have some problems...
