With his comments about Laviolette scratching him, it's very likely he will get traded. What are likely destinations and returns for NYR?
Kane is actually 33, with a year left on his deal. You're welcome. Not your 30-year-old soon to be UFA.
Mattias Samuelsson is your man.Similar aged C or LHD. Or could be a struggling prospect + pick.

Hoglander 1 for 1. Drury wanted Hoglander in return for Kravtsov. I’m sure he’d come around again.
Kakko is either going to Edmonton or the Ducks
Could see a team with multiple 1st round picks dangle the lowest of the bunch for him. Maybe Chicago thinks they can jumpstart him with Bedard?
For Toronto's 1st in a weaker draft?
After seeing Trouba traded without assets added or salary retained, nothing would surprise me.Yeah Kakko is not getting Rangers a 1st rounder
Kakko and a 5th for Vatrano
Ducks aren't competing at any point under Vatrano contract
Pospisil is your man.
Lol. Kakko doesn't owe Rangers a sh*t anymore. They've handled him pretty shitty during the years. Not even close. Never did they give him honest chances during these last months or even last year. He's better than some of Rangers top6 wingers with ease. Especially at 5v5.Would wager that based on what he did in the media, greater than three quarters of the league’s GMs wouldn’t bother picking him up on waivers. Especially hard to look the other way when all you get for the risk of taking what is now a toxic player is someone who’s a bottom six guy at best.
Certainly the NYR front office seems every bit a toxic environment themselves but this is beyond the pale. Anyone can credit the validity of what he said but the issue at hand is why give someone of his ilk that second chance and have him turn around and air your team’s opportunities or throw what are supposed to be his teammates under the bus.
Someone will take a shot at him but it certainly won’t be a quality GM.
